It is time and labor intensive and even more so since she has not had a baby, but it is completely possible. It will take 8-12 15-20 minute milkings per day to produce results. I suggest the hospital grade double breast pumps (otherwise it is 15-20 minutes per side thus doubling the time she has to spend) and the other means of pump or stimulating the nipples are less effective. Try to get one that has a "two phase" process. These are pricy and run around $250+, but are well worth it if you are serious about this. Mother's milk tea is good. The ingredients in it taken at higher separate doses may be helpful if progress is long in coming or delayed completely. There are also prescription meds that can produce lactation as a side effect, but only consider this if all else is not working because there are often nasty side effects and there is the difficulty of involving a doctor in the process. Doctors are not really very crazy about giving out meds just to spice up your bedroom life. All in all it is a long, but potentially worthwhile process and is completely possible. It carries some risks of complication much the same as that of a nursing mother. It also carries the possibility of making it a little trickier if you both want a child later. It is nature's attempt at slowing birthing. It is imperfect, so don't rely on it as your method of birth control if you are not ready to raise a family. I wish you luck and hope this helps. lovingpet
