But sadly I have seen the effects of WOW addiction. My duaghter now works as a server at a couple of restaurants as her partner cannot get work due to bowing to WOW instead of working on his contracts.

So Im a bit biased due to that.

While I know people who are addicted to rp games I find it hard to blame the game. Personal responsibility goes a long way in life. My ex played pogo to the point that she would miss meals. I never blamed it on Pogo, I blamed it on her. While it is a shame that your daughters parter had no self control, that is hardly Blizzards fault.

Greetings all....

Yes, there are many more than any of you may imagine. I have a Level 80 Mage on Blade's Edge who is currently farming Naxx 10 until the guild gets enough to go to Naxx 25 and the other heroic instances in Northrend. I also have an almost 80 Resto Druid on the same server. Both my slave and I play and I usually use the Druid when I am with her. He heals when he can keep up with Little Miss KillsALot. (No, not her WoW nick, just what I call her.) <grins>

If someone is new to WoW they should start on a PvE or Player versus Environment or regular server. This means the other side can't attack you unless you want to go PvP or Player versus Player with them. It can be a lot of fun especially when the game play changes as you level up. If there is any one else on Blade's Edge, look for Malkinius some night.

kazza has just started playing WoW she has a character called Jasara who just reached level 10 yesterday. she is on the US Blades Edge server and seems to be just a bit too obsessed with killing Lord Melenas....the bastard keeps killing her lol

Besides the FemDomme guild (which I think it on a PvP server), does anyone know of a BDSM-flavored guild on a PvE or RP server? I've been looking for well over a year with no luck - my current guild (on Earthen Ring) is the closest I've found with a large number of submissives to have gravitated to a very strong Dominant leader.

obviously, playing w0w is not taking over our lives or i would be level 80! Sir hooked us up on his old accounts the last week of Feb. because i was couch bound due to a severe knee injury. i have leveled a night elf priest on a PVP server to lvl 77. i die alot at the hands of the horde, but kinda hard not to wearing pajamas playing against the never ending level 80 DK's who are looking for honor points.
we started our own guild (Auction House Slaves on Sargeras) and it is growing, so that takes up some of my play time doing guild biz. i am the enchanter for the guild and i keep a good eye on everyone's gear and keeping them enchanted to the max for their level.
he bought me my cold weather flying and a fast bird last night...oh yea! this weekend is going to be a w0w weekend and i will be level 80 by sunday night...

my favorite places in Northrend so far.... Grizzly Hills

we dig w0w alot, but maintaining our businesses and home are always first on the agenda.

ps...BP and poen are playing now??
