ORIGINAL: Jeptha In job interviews you usually get asked something like that. They ask you your strengths, and then they ask you what you perceive as your weaknesses. What do you think are yours? (referring here to the weaknesses, in the interests of equal airtime, as we've had many threads recently where perceived strengths were trotted out.) ps: I'd love to answer, but I've got an appointment! Not an easy thing to discuss for me, especially since I'm trying to overcome some of my self-perceived flaws. I'm socially awkward, basically. I tend to do the 'wall flower' thing, not having discovered my extroverted side. Better to be thought a fool then to say or do something to prove it, you know? Call it a gift from an abusive parent. Another of my flaws is not quite knowing when to 'stop'. I often rely heavily on visual clues and it's been pretty reliable, but when it comes to conceptual activities, like discussions or projects, I have trouble knowing when to say to myself, 'good enough, next item'. I'm doing much better these days, though.
