Are you carrying a grudge? Posting a lot of crap on the boards about the object of your dislike? i'd bet most people doing this cannot even say what began it. It denigrates the tenor of the boards and makes the poster look like an ass.

i say, let it go; post things that help people, amd grow the f**k up.

If you recognise yourself in this type, try being a whole person with a full complement of brains and understanding.

Haha, I love it...no one is going to reply to this one. But, I do find humor is the best way for all to feel better. Plus, if a sub wants to look like an ass to me, I say more power to her...show it to me.

A confident, positive, and wise energy will gain my respect much faster than negative energy. For some this is the only way they are able to acheive getting any energy.............I call them energy vampires, and they do exist. Sadly the current law frowns on me driving a wooden stake through their heart.

i find it all amusing as well and i'm lost i've no clue about grudges going around on the board? i didnt realise others were harmed in the making of this forum.

as for grudges = ) i'm an evil mean little snot. Do me wrong once and you're liable to hear about it till your death bed. <wicked giggle> And if you REALLY do me wrong, i'm liable to not forget it and give karma that extra push. That being said, its only for those that "harm" me. <wicked giggle>

Tho, if you end up pissing me off, i'm liable to BE pissed off until things get worked out. i usually find very good reasons to be pissed off and erm well, its one my flaws = ( i tend to hold stuff. LOL What can i say, shoot me. But generally i just ignore those folks.

I was just recently able to get over a grudge I had. The first one I had, had in years. But yes, it is nice to be free of that burden, that desire to enact revenge, and finally put it behind me.

Do I tend to post my woes on message boards? No, not really. I've seen too much drama as it is, and I know it is not wanted.

i have been a member of many forums, with different focuses, and the one thing I have noticed they all have in common is the repeated requests to not bitch and whine about eachother in the threads...sorry there are 2 things they all seem to have in common.....nobody ever bothers to pay any attention to the requests.

Sometimes, I think that grudges can be useful. They help you remember not to trust someone who has hurt you in the past. They can help you remember ot protect yourself better.

Not always, but sometims.

Why not enjoy the comic relief. Bandwidth is cheap and hard disk space is even cheaper. It's really easy not to look at a flame thread. I personally think it's funny and sometimes makes me laugh. I can't say I've been offended ever on any board. I might bite back if someone says something, but that is more just enjoying a discussion. I couldn't imagine ever getting actually upset over what someone says on a board about me, having never met them, even if I did, I doubt it would matter. It seems some do get all fiery though, and I don't really get it. This is just a forum, it's not really that important in the scheme of things. If it helps someone to bitch about something, well, it helped them feel better so it served its purpose.

The main problem with forums I see is that alot of times things are interpretted differently than the way they were intended. I've been on both ends of this, as well, It's another flaw of this form of communication. I'd say this alone is the cause of more arguments and subsequent bad feelings than anything.
