Are you just exclusively looking in Vancouver?  Why not try areas such as Victoria, Naniamo, Surrey, Sidney or any other areas in that general location? Victoria has a good variety of fit yummy men and most are straight!

I think your observation's accurate, erin.  'Course, to balance that sort of thing out, one could cite the many men who desire 'bbw'. 
I also think that male, female, whatever, preferences are fine.  The op's perception of herself as of a particular level of attractiveness makes likely her seeking out someone she deems comparable somewhat predictable, though a bit more rigid than are some females regarding the stature of their male partners.  I've gotta say, though, I find the op's approach (Albeit a bit harsh) a refreshing change from people who say that all of the usual identifying factors aren't important to them: those folks track to me as either desparate or dishonest.

I read your rant on that other site, and LOL'd---and just for the record, Ms Onyx does not come off as anti-fat there, in her much longer and very humourous post.

I never thought of Vancouver as "small", but   I do know what you mean about everyone knowing EVERYONE... still, there are all sorts of new folks popping up.  I have had an amazing run of luck finding completely NON bisexual men lately!

You see many here have problems… they are not your normal funny fit guys…those people are mostly normal and do not participate in the lifestyle.

Lets face it most normal adjusted men have no desire to be dominated by a woman. Face this as well most normal well adjusted women do not want to dominate men.

So… your choices are severely limited and you will have to join the rest of us trying to find that rare man or woman…Just don’t hold your breath.

I am sorry that you have such a dim view of people and apparently yourself...unless you're kidding, which I actually hope you are, and I am being dense. 
I've found kinky people to cross-section out just like society at large in lots of ways.  I don't think there are inherent physical 'flaws' or psychological ones as prerequisites.

Says common sense… the vast majority of all people do not desire to participate in this lifestyle…what does that tell you.

To me it means I have less choice within the lifestyle than I would outside of it if I had normal desires…plain and simple.

It tells me that the vast majority of people don't know what they are missing. It does NOT tell me that they are any more well adjusted or normal than I am.
