Hi everyone! I need help! I want to attend the masquerade ball @ the winter fetish flea in Mansfield MA this weekend. I have no idea how to dress. I'm tall, short redhair, pretty conservative looking. I always feel like a domme in a pair of high boots so i would like something a little more feminine. Any suggestions?

My Boston partner will be going as his kitty cat persona. I can hook you two up and you can go together.

With a masquerade you can go all out- formal gowns. You could go full fetish with chains and pvc. A lot of doms just wear the minimum of black top and jeans and boots.

You could rent a 3 piece tux with a pink vest. Mmmmm.

Ooo, a masquerade ball. This provides endless possibilities. Ball gowns, renaissance wear, corsets with flowy skirts, formal dresses, and other sparkly things.

I am going to assume you are on a budget and be reasonable. In this case, I would suggest you focus on a mask and accessories and maybe use something you already own. There are some pretty cool but inexpensive mardi gras style sequin and/or feather masks. Pair a pretty white dress with some wings and white satiny mask, adding jewels or feathers or tiny flowers or other pretties to it to compliment. Or take a standard black dress and..and...

Too many possibilities. I am getting all revved up.

Believe it or not, you can find some cool stuff at the Goodwill or Salvation Army. They often have leather, great shoes, furry stuff, sheer things, and ball gowns and for a bargain too. One girl's trash is another girl's treasure!

id like to add, wheresomething you feel submissive in. Im 6ft, and empathise with the feeling domly in a pair of boots and get all manner of offers that are no good[:o] for me.
But when i coupled the same boots with a black silk nighty, different ball game alltogether.

Slutty usually = sub
virginial white usually = sub
both themes are still sub with the boots.

aww man. Thanks for reminding me. I completely forgot that I was planning to go to that.

I'll probably wear a corset, skirt, boots, probably a cloak, since it'll be cilly weather. Red, whit, black colour scheme. Just to give you an idea.

Of course, I'm going stag. None of my friends share my adventurous side.
So I'd suggest talking with whoever you're going with, maybe wear the same colour scheme.

I'll be attending the Fetish flea as well. I love the winter flea so much fun. I have gone to a couple of the Balls but not attending this one. All the suggestions given were great ideas though. I hope you have a great time

School girl is always a good choice, especially if you feel comfortable in that. That is definitely a submissive look, if you are worried about looking like a domme. I like to go more glamour when there is a opportunity, but that is just so the few "fancy" dresses I have come out of the closet once in a while.

The most important thing is you feel smokin' hot. If school girl does it for you, get out the plaid skirt!

If you're asking ME...the chances of me doing a look like that are even less than the chances of me wearing black again in the next 5 months.

However, it can be a great look if you make it fresh- the shoes, the backpack, the stuffed toy, the coloring book...if you really make it work, it can be very fun.

And really, don't worry, everyone is there to have a great time.
