its hitting mid 50s to low 60s here in the day. At night though, forget it, still cold as hell.

No matter where you're at, the only true sign of spring is the return of the male red-winged blackbird.....he comes in to set up territory, then the females arrive. I used to love to see them come back....til they started defending said territory......those little bastiges are pretty accurate as far as bopping you on the head from about 50 feet up! It was like running a gauntlet in the spring trying to walk to school......but the alternative was going 1/2 mile out of our way to get home. We all wore hats, cuz at least they'd rip that off your head instead of skin and hair!

ahh... no snow on the weekend.... but it is snowing today, so maybe one more weekend of sking is in the cards

Had some beautiful weather here the past few days... Only down-side is that everything is green with pollen, and the no-see-um's make the outdoors off-limits at dawn and dusk. Oh, and the birds are waking me up at the butt-crack of dawn.

But the temperatures are nice

We are having a glorious spring!

The grass is just starting to get green, the song birds are back, the spring flowers are waking up, the buds are getting ready to pop on the flowering shrubs and trees, the squirrels are driving my dogs bat shit CRAZY running past the big bedroom windows scampering up and down the big oak making their nest. And my favourite, the baby animals!!
