( These are gay male sub myths, not het... but I thought I'd share them anyhow. )

Myth - all male subs "grow up" into doms and masters.

Myth - all old male subs are "past it" and unwanted by anyone.

Myth - all male subs only want hook-ups, never lasting relationships.

Myth - all male subs are poly.

Myth - all male subs want to have sex with everyone and anyone.

Myth - all male subs judge doms on cock size.

Myth - all young male subs don't know what they want, and need to "explore" in the form of the aforementioned hooking up with everyone.

The last one bugs me in particular. It's like "Do I have to have sex with eight one-legged midgets on a flying trapeze before you believe I want a committed, monogamous relationship!?"

Actually I think most of those apply to hetro malesubs as well, except the judging the doms on cock size....the hetro one for this would be juding dommes on breast size, after all the bigger they are the better dominant you are

Some male subs live up to some of these myths.... but most don't. I suppose about the only generality you can state about us is that we're all looking to get our needs met. And for most of us, those needs are seeing that our Dom/me gets theirs met first.

Of course it is. I wish more subs and dommes would accept and own the fact that D/s has paradox right at its core . . . .

My two myths:
