I can see there are no hard and fast rules about nipple clamps. After thinking about it, and all the tissues involved with the nipple, I'd have to say, with a reasonable amount of confidence, about ten minutes short of causing massive amounts of damage from crushed tissues. If it's just sensation that you're looking for, the nipple is a rather small area to create more pain beyond a single clamp. Just keep in mind, if you want more time in the clamp, the less pressure you'll want. A small amount of pressure over a long period of time can be pretty painful, at least until the nerves get used to it and the brain begins to ignore it. Your mileage may vary, so experiment with a mind on safety. Start with light pressure over long periods of time, then add pressure with shorter periods of time. You might find a balance.
