i have one of those home-diagnosis medical books at home that suggests that the best course of action to 'cure' homosexuality is 'aversion therapy'... [;)] (honestly it does!)

Many years ago- mom threw me in the car- took me to be cured. While there, the psychiatrist told her that I did not need to be cured. LOL. My aunt was with and the expression on her face was priceless. Lets suppose I do get cured. Honestly- I am not tuned in to all the heterosexual signals- the do and dont when in mixed company. Like I realize some of the signals, But I dont know enough of them to not get an azz kicking over it. Then I see the trouble heterosexual people have in life. So it isnt as if- cured- life then is bliss. :-)

I'm happy that it wasn't 5 out of 6. This clearly shows one of the problems in the mental health field- the lack of science and certification (primarily because the practitioners could not agree on even some basic definitions) which allows charlatans (and religious zealots) to flourish. About a century ago, a mother wrote to Freud asking him to "cure" her son of homosexuality. Freud's response was that homosexuality was not a disease, and therefore could not be cured. Sam
