What is it about being naked, do you prefer to be naked in your bdsm activities or clothed?

Do you like being seen unclothed by others ?

To me, I feel it is an expression of freedom, freedom to be me in my entirety in such activities, and perhaps a little exhibitionism.

Any thoughts ?

It really doesn't matter to me whether I am clothed or nude when we do our thing.  There is no added thrill with being nude or being nude with others present.  However, our circumstances are different than many.  We go to a nudist resort where you swim nude, go to the restaurant nude, have a drink at the bar nude, and do karaoke nude.  Just remember to take a towel to sit on.

I prefer to be nude when I play. It's what works best for me and I don't really even think about it anymore. I just automatically strip to play.

I am almost too comfortable being nude. There have been mornings, when extended family has been visiting, that I staggered half asleep to the bathroom, only to shock the hell out of someone on my way to or fro.

It only makes me uncomfortable when other people are being weird about it in some way.

I like to be naked as well...but not with others around...I mean I can only take so much pointing and laughing.[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m26.gif[/image] I have property in the Missouri Ozarks. In early spring, before the bugs and poison ivy, I love to walk nude in the woods ...I feel completely free and one with nature..but damn the blackberry stickers.

I prefer to be naked pretty much all the time when I'm in my comfort zone. meaning mostly in my home. I do not need to be engaged in bdsm activities.

I do not like to be naked around strangers, or even around some friends.

99% of the ppl I know I have zero desire to see nakie.  Those folks that "flaunt" their body in <semi> public areas.  I'm thinking make the world a better place and put your clothes back on, cuz the rest of us are losing our lunch!!!

Seriously that is why God made clothes.  So I wouldn't have to wonder why you have 3 belly buttons.

When i first got naked in front of Sir i was terrified, now i don't bat an eyelid, it's natural, it's how he prefers me. I do love putting sexy lingerie, clothes on too and even like playing in them sometimes. I used to buy really cheap trailer trash stuff that my ex could cut off, rip off etc. No way would that have been happening to my la senza, playboy, in general more expensive stuff lol.
My only bug bear with being naked all the time was having to get dressed to go out for a cig, it was a pain in the ass. Mind that won't be a problem since i'm supposed to be giving them up [:'(]

Edited because i forgot to add for the sake of exhibitionism i prefer to be scantily clad, leaving a little something to the imagination. I don't personally get off on seeing naked people, i like to imagine whats underneath the clothing. Honestly i find some people extremely ugly naked and think we are far more attractive when presenting ourselves to the best of our ability. Just me *shrugs*

I like playing naked, or nearly so, it's difficult to move freely in a corset!  Floaty things get caught in flogger tails, and leather gets all hot.  Hmm... no wonder playing in public isn't that interesting to me!

It really depends on what I am doing.  I like to have a lil something on... for different reasons... but always something easily taken off and sexy looking.  But that might only be gloves at certain times.  If I am comfortable enough to be sexual with someone... I have no problem in being naked. lol

Not so much during a Scene as afterwards.  I like the feel of the leather on my skin and having my breasts supported during physical activity is a necessity.

Yes, my home is clothing optional.

We have a clothing optional beach here.  Nothing feels quite as wonderful as being naked in the ocean with the warm sunlight on your skin and a bit of a breeze.


Any thoughts ?

Whether or not I am wearing clothing at home is due to temperature and whether or not the front door is open and the neighbors might be accidentally flashed.
 
Human bodies come in all shapes and sizes and self-acceptance + self-love are often improved being learning to love the body you are in and being happy that it is yours.

When I'm at home alone, I'm naked as often as possible. Sometimes, Master has to remind me to put on clothes or an apron...deep fryer, anyone? When we play, I am typically naked because I just typically am naked. However, I'll put on clothes or lingerie sometimes to spice things up.

When i solo play I am usually naked or in just socks, my feet get cold easily (Not bad circulation just thin skin)

When I play with Domme(s) I am ussually "presented" to who ever will be playing with me clothed, and dis-robed in a humiliating fashion, and I enjoy it.

I am 100% comfortable being naked I am actually naked right now watching Lost on ABC.com's free episode player.

During BDSM activities... as in everything else where another person is present... I prefer to be at least partially clothed. I like having clothes on when other people are around, but that's purely a self-esteem issue.

I *like* being naked; if I'm alone and in my room, I'm usually naked unless I'm getting ready to leave, or don't have enough time to be. It feels nice. If someone else that I'm not 100% comfortable with is around, I'll be self conscious... even then, though, it will only make me pull on boxer-briefs or shorts or something. I'm not insane about it, I just think that my 'naked time' is very personal... so I should be very close to anyone sharing it with me.

Sir prefers me naked - when it is just us, and when others who are aware of our proclivities and enjoy similar activities are present. In fact he insists that i be naked. And to begin with, i was just a tad selfconscious (read massively embarassed!). However, as time went on, i became more and more comfortable in my skin - and now, i prefer to be naked. Much more comfortable   -  and way less  laundry!!!

And if i am going to be really honest, i like it when i get looked at. I had no idea that i was a bit of an exhibitionist.[:)]   I find it interesting that there are people who can look at me and not make me uncomfortable in the least, and then there are a few people who can look at me with clothes on and make me very self conscious and uncomfortable. I think the difference is in the intent - one is admiring me, the other is leering with evil intent.

And lest you get the wrong idea - i am not gorgous. I have nice boobs, and the rest of me is definitely that of a 50 year old woman. But i have beautiful hair and nice boobs, and some of the rest of me is good - and my Sir loves to look at me, and that is enough for me. [:)]

And if someone finds my 50 year old body repulsive - don't look!!!!!

I have sensory problems.  I hate things that are tight against my skin.  Clothes are irritating so the less clothes I have to wear the better.  I get naked even when I'm just sitting around the house watching t.v. or reading or screwing around on the computer.  Hell, right now the only thing I have on is a pair of panties.

gah I love NOT being naked unless it's in bed AND under covers...maybe it's due to the fact that I was always extremely cold until just recently that my body discovered that it won't die though it raises the body temperature up a bit[8|]
