Since we seem to be missing any Limbaugh threads in the last couple of days, I thought turn about might be fair play ...

New Revelations In Case of Olbermann v. Twitter
OR: Why The Internet Invented The Phrase "Epic Fail"

The incompetence that led to Keith Olbermann naming Twitter the “Worst Person in the World” is staggering. He smeared the popular service, Fox News, and a fellow liberal Democrat enemy of Fox News, all because he got an email he didn’t understand, about a technology he didn’t understand, and neither he nor his staff did a click of research.

Enjoy.

I think "the scam" is that Owner got us to reply to him.

Olbermann is an idiot too.

But you conservatives have Limbaugh, Hannity, and O'Reilly.

The least you can do is let us be proud of our own idiot.

Don't forget Coulter, Malkin and that big crybaby Beck. Dear lord. That must suck.

I think Coulter just does it purposely to be outrageous and gain attention.

Malkin scares me though because I think she really believes her own bullshit.

rule I have always thought that. Coulter is just a shrieking shrill media whore that would become a liberal if she thought the bucks were there, however the neocons that she reigns over are far far easier to dupe, so she stays on the far right with the god guns and gays crowd. She has all the integrity of Jack Abramoff. Malkin is a whole different creature. Her indignation is auctually authentic, which is scary both in it's ignorance and it's extremisim.

I don't get the comparison between Olbermann and the mass of right-wing commentators anyway. For a start, he doesn't innundate television and radio studios with his interviews. He's not NEARLY as loud as the others. And at times, he actually makes sense.

Yep. No comparison.

He hasnt said anything right since "I can't beat Jim Rome so I guess I'll fail at political commentary too".

I take your word for it. I'm sure you're not at all bias.

The word is "biased", and of course I am. Everyone is. At least my biases are based on education and experience, not bumper stickers. (I'm not saying yours are...apparently you're just too young to know better.)

Or too blind to realize you have been.  What was the "I'll be old enough to vote comment" earlier? Or was that someone else?

That was said tongue in cheek. Fair kittin, although hardly appearing so, is actually of legal voting age for a bit now. Don't hate her for being ageless.

Or for being correct.

I'll wait patiently for that to happen.

No one seems to be surprised that Olbermann is an idiot, then?

I'd heard of this guy before but had never seen him.
So, one night I'm flipping through the channels and I watched him for ten minutes and I think he's Rush Limbaugh's cousin or something!
What are we doing letting mentally unbalanced people make commentaries on t.v. for?

LOL...because thats what we Americans like to hear??  It gives us plenty to argue about, whether its right or wrong.  I don't think Olberman is 'quite' as bad as Rush.  But I think he is every bit as incredible as O'Reilly.  I like their 'tit-for-tat', on-going arguments.  If I had to take any journalist as somewhat (or maybe more than somewhat unbiased), I would pick Tim Russert.  Since he's gone, my second half-way decent journalist of rationality of Chris Mathews.  What's important in remembering and picking who you agree with or not, we should all keep in mind, we are only listening to (usually) biased opinions.  We have opinions too.  Just like ours, their isn't always right, neither is theirs.  But I maintain.  Its good entertainment.

(And NO, Firm, I dont think Olberman's an idiot.  Just an outspoken, opinionated person...more interested in expressing his views only, not anyone else's.  But!!...he's a liberal, so I'm giving him kudos just for that! lol
