You can't ask things like that when I have a headache! lol I can hardly remember my name.  But one movie keeps coming to mind and I may go buy it if I can figure out how to make a DVD from itunes, which is apple and not ms.  Mask... I love that hunky biker Sam!  He is great as a cowboy too... but can't remember the movie titles!  Sam did a war movie with Mel that I saw part of the other day...omg, I could not believe that was Sam... didn't know him until he talked... thank god for that. That voice does it for me.

I believe you're referring to Sam Elliot.

Well even when a man goes bald... he can typically grow hair on his face.  I might need something to hang on to!  Ever had your facial hair caught in something?  Hurt's doesn't it?  It gets your attention.  Besides... I like to have a man grow facial hair in certain patterns...

It actually depends on the face... but I have been known to grab facial hair... so why not? lol

But those men... I like them for different reasons! lol

My favorite role for Sam Elliot was John Buford in GettysburgMagnum P.I. still is my favorite Tom Selleck role.  As for myself, you ask?  Richard Widmark in The Red Skies of Montana.  :-|  That should have been me!

Hello A/all,

Well this is a revelation!  Who does it for whom.  *chuckle*

I'm not sure how much looks enter into it for me.  I am somewhat the woodsman type.  I am tall (which helps); but, I am not really good looking.  The photo on my profile is the best that I could find with out a beard or 21 days of fire dirt.   My mistress says that I grow on people (sheesh... like a wart?).  Still, she says, every once in a while, she will see a guy, get a "wow" response, then realize that it's me.  I reckon that she is seeing me from behind (I'm told that I have a great butt).

For myself, pretty women get my notice; but, it takes more to hold my interest.  I suppose that thats the real question here.  What part do looks play in holding your interest?

Respectfully,
Mike

Well, I can't speak to stereotypical fantasies but...

I'm fractionally taller than Kita, which means that she's a little taller than me when she wears heels.  There is something incredibly, irrationally hot about having to reach up to kiss her.  It makes me all melty and *purr*.

beeble.

Looks matter to me a lot, although I've found that my preference in looks tends to go hand in hand with a great personality. I have no idea how that manages to work out, but it does. I don't go after the movie star guys, but men with beautiful eyes, good teeth, and attractively put together bodies really does it for me.

Yes, looks do matter...as well as chemistry, loyalty, kindess, etc. They all balance out one another as far as I'm concerned.

If 'tall' is part of the stereotype, then Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman is excluded.  The word 'counterintuitive' isn't adequate to the utter implausibility of such a suggestion!

But it's interesting you should talk about the buzz of 'reaching up to kiss her'.  Sure, I see that.  But, then, I can get quite a buzz from the idea of being dominated by a 'small and delicate' woman in part precisely because she's small and delicate.

What's funny is for me, the looks of the woman are much more important than the looks of the Domme. While I love the image of the stereotypical Domme, it's of little use to me.

The woman I will fall madly in love with and serve until we're old and gray will need to be compatible in all parts of my life, so looks and style kind of fall in line with that.

Me walking into Easter Dinner last week with a pierced, blue haired, Goth chick wouldn't have really fit in too well (plus I tend not to have a lot in common with such women) nor would me walking in with a heavyset librarian type (plus I tend not to have a lot in common with such women). My friends and family aren't conservative or religious or closed minded or anything like that, we're just 'normal,' middle class people.

In my attempts to date dominant women, I've met some very nice women, but none who would fit in my world, which has a 'look test.'

I personally would be okay with dating someone outside of my normal 'type' if she fit into my life and got along with my friends and family, but unfortunately tend not to be attractive to those women apprently because my approaches to them have been shot down.

Anyone who says looks aren't important or that they don't prejudge on looks is full of it to a certain extent. Everyone does, whether conscious or not.
