Two things:

1. What is the total contribution to "Global Warming" when thye President of the United States flies in everything and everyone needed to make a pizza?

Is the President not at all concerned that the global warming crisis is real?

2. The President says we must all sacrifice in this time of financial crisis. I'm wondering, did he omit the extra cheese... ?

in regards to the global warming..if he can do this then good for him. We're all going to die anyway, and even though everybody would stop driving their cars, flying their planes etc. etc. the global warming wouldn't stop.
Global warming is 'caused by the nature and it always happens once in a while and there's nothing we can do about it. It even happened when the humans didn't exist. All we "might" be able to do is to postpone the inevitable.

I hope the pizza will taste awesome..and if he sees this post then he would be even more awesome if he'd make one pizza come my way

No, thing is... I've never been able to just print so much money that I could ever even dream of so many different ways to waste it like this.

But, oh well. It's only our tax money, and our children's tax money, right? No big deal. When Obama runs low he'll just dig the hole a few trillion deeper.

Status: offline 		     I guess my question would be, how often do they bring guest chefs into the White House in general?  It isn't like the family living there can hop in the sedan and go out for dinner.  Seems perfectly reasonable for someone asked to cater an event like this to bring their own tools and ingredients.

    Now if you want to make a case that the perks of the job are going to the Obama's heads, I'm going to need to see quite a few more examples.

The President actually draws a handsome salary sanity....why do you assume he didn't pick up his own tab?

But then he has the audacity to fly a pizza chef thousands of miles for a pizza party at the White House... all the while telling you and me that we're going to have to sacrifice.

But you are correct, there is virtually no coverage of Obama hypocrisies, though since it is a White House party, taxpayers normally foot the bill.

mike, it took Me literally almost four years to find a decent pizza in the South.  Not quite as good as some of the places that I've been, but absolutely extraordinary compared to some places that I've been.  Should you ever make it down this way, I'll be happy to take you along.

"Global Warming's gonna kill us all, so I'm gonna fly my entire entourage to Hawaii so I can lie around on the beach for a few days, maybe get a picture taken with my shirt off. Then I'm gonna raise taxes on electrical rates to punish the evil doers who run their air conditioning in the summer, or who try to compete with the Chinese by manufacturing widgets in the USA."

Besides, this is the politics section - if you can't stand someone talking politics, it could you're the one who needs to get a little lighter. Ya know?

We're only great because we used to believe in fiscal responsibility, and our leaders didn't talk out of both sides of their mouths. What's so great about someone who preaches this "do as I say, not as I do" nonsense. We've got car manufacturers who are going under because he's "getting tough" with them. "We don't have endless gobs of money to throw at trying to keep them afloat".
