But for what reason Dani ? Your point of view seem almost nostalgic, and there is nothing wrong with that, until you realize something. At any time the PTB could've decided that those buildings had outlived their usefulness and knocked them down anyway. So is it that they're gone or how they're gone ? Notice how the buildings fell in such an orderly fashion, almost as if they were designed to. Well they were. Every structure has a finite life cycle, and key trip points (for lack of a better term) are provided to facilitate a controlled demolition. I also believe quite strongly that charges are placed within the structure for the same reason. It is easy to see why such information would be kept from the public, how would you feel if you found out that your desk at work was right next to a bomb ? This also explains the anomolies in the seismic data collected not only in NYC, but in OKC as well. Years ago in Cleveland they demolished a multi story parking garage. It was old and probably built before they considered the final demolition in the design. It took them YEARS. Pounding and pounding away every day at thick, pre-stressed concrete and steel. It is easy to understand why they do this now. My advice is to not fall in love with a skyline, or much of anything else. We lost our beloved stadium, not to terrorists, but to big money. The old Cleveland stadium was the place for a football game. Beer, piss and blood running down the floor, a bunch of drunks having a good time. Now that's going to a football game. Now you can't even smoke, and it's OUTSIDE ! This is ridiculous and you won't catch me dead there. T
