Thank you Lookie! Omg I have never seen Simon smile like that! He thought she was a fruitcake or something when she swirled her hips and the look on his face was really like... oh no... this is going to suck... to his lift of his eye brows in surprise to that smile! Watching the judges faces was fun! She surprised them all! Her voice is so natural and unstrained... amazing!

Actually I wish I could cut out the applause and commentary.. just hear her sing. What really got me was her surprise that she was so well received, that made me sad. She has had a rough time of it from what I read. What a beautiful voice. (Um. I still need that spanking please n thankies)

I've only cried once before when I heard someone sing....it was at a Broadway musical 10 years ago...and I swear I thought I was sitting in the middle of Heaven. This was the second time. Lookie, go to youtube and look up Eva Cassidy... some of her songs will blow you away! I hear angels in some of her songs. She is dead now... and many will mourn the loss of her and her powerful voice. Try Fields of gold...

That was absolutely beautiful! I'd go out now and buy her cd - so i hope they put one out soon. The last time i felt like that was in London at the very beginning of The Phantom of the Opera when the chandalair went up - i burst into tears, and the man next to me moved as far away from me as he could. very moving.
