O wait.

This is not a BS erotica story. People get sick, and common sense tells you that care and rest is needed. I roll my eyes when people let their little egos get in the way of basic humanity.

O baby, that first part is so hot, Then you had to ruin it with your real world "compassion" and high highfalutin 'basic humanity' tripe. Thanks.*

subsubtle, of course you'd get a day off when you are sick...   You'd just have to catch up on the work the following day.
I'm just kidding...
Life/destiny sometimes has it's own plans for us.    Falling ill is human in dommes and subs alike.    Hopefully we have the good judgement to enter into relationships, with partners who can be loving and supportive of us when we aren't at our best.    M

I'm especially turned on (w/ the exception of GI tract nausea) when my domme tortures me knowing I'm ill.   Beating me when I'm down takes a special sadist with evil I melt under!.  Love the first part of the quote below;

My slave is on light duty while he is going through some extensive health issues.  I think it is only fair to give a sub/slave a day off when they are not up to it.   You will burn them out if you don't comply.

Best Wishes,

So a couple of you think it is a hot thing to expect a submissive/slave to never get sick and even when sick to have a dominant push you and expect you to continue as normal without consideration for your illness?  Is that what you all are saying?

You would rather be abused than taken care of so that you could remain healthy and not compound a medical issue by not caring for yourself and maybe prolonging an illness?  What decent dominant would abuse her/his submissive in such a way?  Where is there care for the person?

Does kink or 'hot' trump good common sense, loving and nurturing and providing wisdom and medical sense for someone we are in charge of?  Do you really think it is hot to be negelcted in such a way?

Depends.  If she is legitimately sick, she gets taken care of.  But if I think she's playing games, I'll deal with it.  I was married for years to a woman who was lazy and a hypochondriac, so I have to be careful not to fall back into old patterns.

As someone who is suffering through a bronchial infection right now, if I were in service to a Domme and she told me to do something like clean the bathroom or do some mulching right now, I'd tell her to go f herself and change the locks.

As much as I desire to be someone's property, I'm a Ferrari not a Ford. If you want to treat someone like shit and get minimal enjoyment out of it, great, own a Ford. If you want something that's going to amaze you and give you an insane amount of happiness every time you take it out for a spin then you better take care of it and make sure it's one of your most prized possessions.

Part of the whole relationship aspect of this for me is the knowledge that if I were sick, my Domme would kill herself to make my life easier in the expectation that I would get better quicker and pay her back for her kindness, caring and concern of my well being exponentially.

does he or she get a "day off" or do you command the same level of service as when he or she is 100%?

Even Roman slaves were permitted to rest when they became ill.  The alternative was to devalue or destroy your property.

When the boykin is sick, he is compelled to wear socks to keep his giant hobbit feet warm.  And he is not expected to perform any of the usual circus tricks, or do a lot of chores, etc..

When he was injured, we worked around the injury as much as possible while it healed--unfortunately it was a serious hand injury, so this took quite a while.  My point of view at the time was that his hand was my hand, and I treated it accordingly.  If I had badly jammed two of my fingers, I would have kept them in splints until they healed so as not to suffer permanent loss of function.

lol, guilty as charged.

I doubt I'd say that, but at the same time, would expect a bit more respect and concern out of someone who supposedly cares for me.

Totally understandable oh' cranky one! hehe

I had a husband once upon a time.  He got sick and was a huge baby about it.  I took very good care of him, making sure he had all he could ever need.  When I got real sick and couldn't move, I laid in bed all day and into the evening and was growing weaker by the moment.  He got home from his long shift at work and asked how I was.  I asked him to get me something to eat and drink and was letting him know how desparate I was for substance by saying, even a piece of bread, just anything!

Guess what I got?  Yup... a peice of bread.  Guess what he got? hehe Papers from the court.

I've just had a sneaking suspicion, subsubtle, that you sometimes actually get more turned on when you're sick.  Is that true?  It's happened to me before.  Especially when I've had heavy colds, for some unfathomable reason.  Mind you, I'm a lot less capable of doing anything about such horniness when I'm ill than otherwise.

I wouldn't but then that's becaause I don't want their germs and I don't want them making ME sick, and or doing that then complaining thewhole night they're exhausted and the play whiped them oout/. jk. I wouldn't expect tem to cause they didn't feel good and it's not right in my mind to demand stuff from those who're feeling that poorly.

I guess the best way to look at your question, OP, would be to turn it around.  If the Domme you were involved with were sick, would you expect her to play with you in the same manner as when she wasn't?

Good for you. Life's way too short to put up with crap like that. Things like that are a huge red flag for me when meeting people.

I had one of these bronchial infections over the winter and the woman I had been seeing at the time was complaining that we hadn't seen each other in a week...and not in the 'oh I want to see you so badly, it's so bad you're sick because I want to do this, that and this to you....' kind of way, it was more of the 'don't you want to hang out with me? I haven't seen you in a week I'm not going to see someone if I'm just there because there's nothing better to do if you don't want to see me than fine i don't want to see you either I can get a man who wants to be with me any time I want I don't need you to show up whenever you feel like it....' Suffice to say, I concluded that she was not the next Mrs Blutarsky.

that could be costly depending on how often said subs got sick or broke down, you can't just go to your local walmart and pick them out from the pet department either you know, you have to go to a special subby shop, and there's papers to be filled out and you know you gotta train them not to piddle out of fear, if they're fearful lil sub pups.

Hello All,

My slaves are my property.  I take care of my property and I take care of what and who is mine.  Therefore, if I value my property, then I will do whatever is necessary to insure that they are properly cared for.  It's to my benefit if they are treated in a manner as to help them recover as soon as is possible.  As I see sacrifices made for me, I come to value them more and more.  In a real time 24/7 House, I know when someone is "off", sick, or "malingering", and am capable of dealing with each accordingly.

Have a good evening all.

Ms TJ
