So sorry you feel puny. This too shall pass. Within a month or two of moving in with Sir i came down with the flu - fever , body aches, nausea, and felt like stink! I was so bad that it was all i could do to get off the couch to go pee - and i was sleeping on the couch because i didn't want to disturb Sir (i'm so wonderful ) It took four days for me to wonder what Sir was eating - because i wasn't , nor was i cooking. It took me a week to get back to work, and all through it Sir fed himself (yes, i know - i didn't know he could!) No laundry got done, no cleaning got done, but at least he didn't starve. I felt much better when i could get Sir his coffee - i felt guilty every time he got his own, even though i couldn't have gotten it for him. How silly is that? edited to add - lemon and honey - i haven't had lemon and honey since i left New Zealand - it was my mums favourite remedy, and when my dad had it, it was a bit stouter than when the kids got it - mum would add a splash of whiskey to it. Probably on the theory that the alcohol would make him sleepy and shut him up.
