kdsub -> RE: Equality within D/s (4/30/2009 8:58:01 PM)
Damn I hate it when folks answer with a book...break this sentence down and that...answers can be simple can't they?
The sub can ask all they want... if the dom says no then the power is with the sub to say yes I will obey or goodbye.
If a dom says you can't crap... power with the sub to say yes I will obey or I’ll crap and leave.
The dom in a dom/sub relationship wields the power to instigate if he walks away they both loose... If the sub walks away it was because he or she refused a command by the dom ... the sub is wielding the power the dom is defied…Dom wanted an action...sub said screw you.
Now I see we will not agree...not the first time
Both of us have explained our thinking no need to comment further.

This is a fast reply, not aimed at anyone in particular
I admit that I am having a hard time understanding this equality issue. As others have pointed out, I fail to see what it really matters?
Is it so important, in a relationship between two or more people, who want to be in that relationship, to define the parameters of equality?
