yep, I do remember that and it was insulting to me as well. Disrespectful. I agree with you, there is no reason for him to endorse one religion over another. Speaking at a religiously affilited place is not endorsing a religion, but if he or his staff see it that way, then they should chose another venue. Not ask any religious group to conceal their symbols. During his campaign he spoke at many churches and synogues. He spoke from the pulpit at Martin Luther King's Church and the cross was prominant above his head. Matter of fact he spoke at many churches where the cross was big and bold above his head. He spoke at a UCC conference, where a cross could be seen. He may not have been president, but he was a political figure, representing people of all faiths in Illinois. Seems he was quite willing to " share the stage with Jesus " to get elected. mbmbn
