I know people who use all sorts of self-identifiers who state that they're happily single.
I abhorr singleness but nowhere near enough to settle. < shrug >

I've been married, I've been divorced, I've dated, I've been single. No matter what I have been in a relationship sense, I have always been me.

A relationship enriches your life in some way, but not being in a relationship is enriching in other ways.

Quite honestly, I don't need a label. I am just me. And I always will be me, regardless of marital status.

yes we are what we are..but i also feel that if we go extended periods of time alone,we lose touch with what you are until a spark of interest comes along in any form to resurrect who we are.it's the old out of mind out of sight routine and it can be easily out of mind for any number of reasons.

Yes, Dominance is a way of being and is ingrained into an individual's character. One may not have a sub at the moment to act out Dominant behavior, but it doesn't change the essence of who that person is intrinsically.
