I started this post because it disturbed me how people will believe wacky things. This small group of people I work with get most of this stuff off the internet. If they get enough believers, it validates it as the truth to them, and their small cult following gets bigger. Here is a few other things they are paranoid about.
They think FEMA has death concentration camps with gas chambers. They say FEMA has millions of coffins on standby for the 2012 earth ending Planet-X meets earth collision.
They are trying to make a homemade hydrogen powered car, they blew up a plastic soda bottle like a hand grenade, trying to store the hydrogen. They are afraid the government or oil companies will kill them when they perfect their hydrogen powered car.
They think a New World Order is coming, making one Government for the whole planet, they even saw a guy on Youtube showing a proto-type coin, its like the Euro, but its called the Amero, lol. They also get interviews off of Youtube from ex CIA agents confirming the New World Order, lol.
One of the best ones is, they want to Opt out of the government, they say F.D.R.s new deal bonded every U.S. citizen for 50 billion dollars, so they want to collect their 50 billion. They even sent forms to their mortgage companies telling them that the government is responsible for the remainder of their mortgage.
Maybe people that follow wacky radical ideals have always been more wide spread then I ever realized, that or it just exploded recently. I do live a sheltered relaxed balanced life.
