I just finished "Everything I Want to do is Illegal" by Joel Salatin. Its about the struggles of Polyface Farm, the author's family farm, and the conflict between the "industrial food system and the local artisanal neighbor-friendly farmer-entrepreneur." Great read for anyone curious/involved in the local food movement. I'm now starting "First They Killed My Father" by Loung Ung. A memoir of a child's life during the reign of Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge and how it personally affected the author.
