GOTCHA.  "Zakuski" is plural.  The singular is "zakuska" (sometimes spelled "zakouska").  So you can't say "Zakuskis."  (It's like "spaghetti.")

Edited to add: I didn't know "abderian," and looked it up.  Very nice word.  An eponym, too.

Zakuski's are hors d'oeuvres; specifically Russian hors d'oeuvres

Abderian. Has something to do with laughing, but I am not sure in which context.

Your turn, Tikkiee.

"Abderian" means "prone to laughter," after Abdera, the home of Democritus, the so-called Laughing Philosopher.  Amazing what you can learn on Collarme these days.

Well, plango means "to beat oneself as a sign of grief."  Plangent must mean beating oneself in mourning.  Or something like that.

Yurt is a round mongolian nomadic dwelling.  Usually insulated with felt and covered finally on the outside with canvas.  It is somewhat portable for a house, but it is on a far grander scale than a teepee.

How to explain this lol.

A Capitol letter that is made with a flourish. Like in caligraphy. I am not sure what the exact style is though; I have seen them, just never thought to actually find out lol.

That's a little technocrat.  Well, not even a technocrat--more like a technocrat's lackey.

Well, hyle is the stuff of the universe, and morphe is its form.

I just noticed the word isn't on Dictionary.com or in OED.  I guess that one was unfair then.

Your turn.

That's the person in charge of the cellar, or the storeroom.

Well, I was at first going to say no, you were wrong, but after thinking for a few, it could be construed in such a way.
