lol yup part of our religious Christians (or would that be catholic?) traditions can and are used as swearwords here in Quebec... as in : Calisse = the bowl where the blood of Jesus Christ was poured in Tabarnak = another kind of spelling...yet, the same basic meaning Criss = as in Christ (Jesus Christ) Osti (or Esti) = the substitut of the body of Jesus Christ that we get to eat at each ceremony Those are the more populars [:D]

A "naiad" is a water nymph. A wood nymph is a "dryad" (or sometimes they use the word "sylph"). Whose turn is it? Edited to add...Oh, Ate, the goddess of infatuation. Next one...have we done "larmoyant" yet?

It has to be from the same root as "zygote." "Zygos" means "yoked," so "azygos" must mean "not yoked." I guess it's something that's free, not bonded to anything else? quote: ORIGINAL: TxBadMan "Azygos"
