There's a Deadliest Catch Thread - yeah. I love the show reminds me of my year on the Alaskan Fishing fleet. Even remember of a couple of the vessles. Yeh ladies I think you would want them cleaned up a LOT. Ever smelled a man who has not showered in a couple of weeks, does not have time to wipe his ass really well, has been sweating a lot from hard work, and been working with fish? Oh and if you want sex - dutch is the place. They really should show some of the sex stuff - mostly traded for drugs and money. And a lot of bisexuallity - thats where I first started to think about guy/guy. But the approach realy freeeeaacked me out.

I just ate some Alaskan King Crab Tuesday! i love jonathan but my heart belongs to the Northwestern. If I have to pick a crew, northwestern it is.

Say there, I was home and mostly dead, when I caught an old rerun. I think we should do a "best lines" of Deadliest Catch. 1) Edgar, when a crab pinched a finger. His knees buckled, and everyone was shouting "don't kill it, don't kill it!". His response was to wave the crab going "Bad crab! BAAAAD CRAB!" 2) Capt Phil when the prop hit the ship (* CLANG *), and he shouts "Be careful of my paint job!!!"

I was just rolling over the whole walrus debacle! Is there some kind of manual of sailor superstitions out there, or is it just too individual to catalog?

The very few people I know who have been out to sea for any length of time all have numerous superstitions.

More blast from the past... Sig actually sports some plumber's butt (2 seasons ago)....or would that be captain's butt? I'm usually reading or using the PC whiles watching TV, so I can miss these gems.
