I am not that much of a shopper. I've had ten years of living in working-class America to teach me how not to want because I can't afford it. Girls with size ten orthopedically challenged feet and F cup bras don't shop at the mall anyway; that stuff has to be ordered specially. And due to said orthopedically challenged feet, walking round all day at the mall is right out, especially if it's a standard one where they don't make the clothes that either fit me or I want to wear, and sell a lot of crap I don't want. But put me in front of a kitchen supply place, a specialty food import shop, or a bookstore, and hold onto your wallet; I can shop for books, for kitchen gadgets, and for verjuice and proscuitto and imported Stilton like you wouldn't believe.... An ideal day for me, quite frankly, involves a trip to the international grocery store and a used bookstore, home and a hot bath with new book and nice music in the background, and then a nice dinner out with good conversation. And some hot sex once dinner settles. (grin)
