I also remember watching the futuristic western cartoon called Brave Star. This Law Man was fast as a cheetah, had eyes of a hawk, and strength of a bear.

I still remember Rude Dog, UPN's Ghost Busters, ABC's The Real Ghost Busters, and Hey Hey Hey It's FAT ALBERT!!!

Seriously, I've seen effemenite before, but wow... Kimba wins the prize. Still a fun show...

I've never seen Kimba, but what's up with Snagglepuss?

I was never a big fan of Hanna-Barbera..., but recently I checked out a collection of Hanna-Barbera tunes (meaning soundtracks to the cartoons) written by Hoyt Curtain.
They were really good.
The music seemed worlds more sophisticated to me than the other production values on the shows.

Snagglepuss was a pimp. Or gay. One of the two. I say pimp.

If we're going to mention Star Wars, let's not forget the Ewaks cartoon series.

Wow! I am surprised no one has mentioned the original Transformers yet! Or GIJOE! Perhaps the coolest 80's cartoons of all time. Granted, GIJOE has been around a lot longer than that in comic book form but still though the cartoon version rocked.

That was exactly my thought scrolling down this thread. To me, at least, Transformers are synonymous with 80s cartoons.

Personal favorites of mine are also Robotech and COPS (It's Crime Fightin' Time).

New adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

I also recall a cartoon called James Bond Jr. My dad walked in one time and gasped "I can't believed he claimed one."

The mid 80's is also when the original Land of The Lost came on. The one with dinos, cavemen, the ocasional visitor from there own time, and the alien race that that better controlled those triangle devices.

Polilce Acadamey also went cartoon as well.
