MarsBonfire -> RE: How Modern Liberals Think (5/6/2009 7:10:46 PM)

Actually, because of my home not being in one of the over inflated "hot markets" it's value has remained pretty much where it's always been. (About 15% over what I actually paid for it.) I have no intent to sell it off, or play the real estate "game" with it. I went through that crap in the 80's and 90's, and found it to be a fools pastime.

Oh, that's an 86 Bonco II, BTW. I paid $750 for it and aside from a few minor repairs, it's been running like a clock for the last 4 years. The money I save from not having either a mortgage payment, or a car payment allows me to weather little economic hiccups like this, and still be able to take trips to the UK and Tokyo when I fucking well please.

I guess I just have a different set of values as to what makes for a good life. I've at least touched the planet to some extent, without having to work three jobs, or blow tons of money and time on getting a degree... (Ask how many grads this season are looking forward to their job search in a few weeks.)

You need to own a huge ass house that's going to suck you dry in payments, repairs, energy costs, and devaluation? Be my guest. You want your fancy car you saw on "Top Gear?" Again, go for it. But while you're busting your ass trying to keep up on the payments when the GOP-built economy turns the loans upside down... just remember, you VOTED for it. You actually bought into that "trickle down" shit. (The only places that are getting that "trickle" are countries overseas who can provide near slave labor.)

Meanwhile, this "modern liberal"- taoist,  is planning his next vacation trip to Amsterdam/ Sweeden next year.

Great links Kirata, thank you.

People have asked, so I will say that Mr. Sayet is describing the alt left in that video. In the Q&A part, starting at about 36:30 he discusses the difference between liberals and the alt left

mnottertail -> RE: How Modern Liberals Think (3/9/2017 8:32:44 PM)

some nutsucker is felchgobbling in 2009. Why didnt he point out nutsuckers dont think, they just parrot the felchgobble they are ordered to, and pimp pedophiles.

Well it's a thread full of straw, starting with you.

What else would happen starting from a trolling post (which isn't like you)?

Jesus fucking crippled Christ on a crutch, you are so pathetic you had to go revive a thread started in April of 2009?

WhoreMods -> RE: How Modern Liberals Think (3/10/2017 4:48:50 AM)

Your post said it was in reply to ManiacalMysery

Perhaps if you ask mnottertroll nicely he will teach you how to make more intelligible posts

mnottertail -> RE: How Modern Liberals Think (3/10/2017 7:33:17 AM)

Nutsuckers have no acquaintance whatsoever with intelligent or intelligible, they are untrainable retards.

Q.E.D.

Thanks K. It's funny that the replys on the thread are playing out as described. It's interesting to see any interest to use discriminate thought is entirely being avoided.

As I said, the nutsucker end of this is playing out in full retardation, pantshiting, and felchgobbling.

You still doing the airport bathroom rounds?

You are in no position to grant anything, stolen valor, on at least two counts.
1) nobody needs your grant of anything.
2) you have no ability to comprehend a question, since you are a retard.

Better be careful or you might be dismissed!

bounty44 -> RE: How Modern Liberals Think (3/10/2017 10:24:03 AM)

there's a national food chain called red robin, and though its been awhile since ive seen any of their commercials, I seem to remember one that would stretch out their name: "reddddddddddddd robin"

every time I see mnottertroll post now, im reminded of that and change the words to: fellllllllllllllllllllllllch gobble!"

Granting that I don't make a habit of burying the board in liberal-bashing threads, and in fact don't even think that "liberals" per se are a problem, I'm confident that the topic had a point when viewed in the context of other threads running at the time back in 2009. But I guess the question remains whether posting dismissive comments without engaging the material illustrates Sayet's thesis.
