If one checks out pictures or movies with femdom related material, in 99% of those, dommes always wear high heels, whether boots, sandals, pumps, etc... Just wondering why is that? Does a domme feel less powerful is she wears shoes without heels or she wears them because that's understandable even if heels create discomfort? By the way, I have nothing against heels, just checking...

I don't have a shoe fetish but I do have a foot fetish. I find women who wear high heels more appealing than women who wear shoes that cover their feet. I guess many domme women know that men like feet so that’s why they wear them, to expose their feet. There is many other ways, as in they wear the shoes that match the cloths or dress they are wearing. The point is, many sub males are into feet, not all, but a large number. Dommes do it to draw more attention in a way I guess. I am not a female dom so my advice is most probably wrong lol. It is just my point of view.

I think far more Dommes, when they chose to dress up (which is NOT an every day thing) wear things that first and foremost make THEMSELVES feel good, rather than what they think will attract men.

If you look closely you may find those ladies in tht stilletos also have 14 inch waists and hair past their bottom...fantasy is why you go to those sites, reality is why you get off the boards and onto your knees. I like the look of high heels, but they aren't very practical when I am moving around, tying my sub up, and dragging him around. I can use them in specific ways in a scene, but they have nothing to do with how much "power" I have. Be well, Julie

I know what our boys have told us about my boots that have heels - they both say that I carry myself differently when I'm wearing them. Not that it changes who I am or how I am feeling, but there are slight differences in how I walk (more deliberately so that I don't break an ankle LOL) and move that alters their reactions, and most of it is subconcious ... the only reason they told me is because I asked them and made them think about it until they each came up with an answer. There is also the unconcious changes that happen when you have to look up at someone rather than down on them (or eye to eye instead of down). Not that it matters all that much when I know of more than one Domme that is less than 5'5" and has submissives who are 6' and up, but with our boys, one is a little shorter than me and one is a little taller than me, so when I put on my boots, I tower over one and am eye to eye with the other. It's a similar thing to why teachers stand at the board and students sit at their desks - it automatically puts the one who's head is higher into a position of authority. It's a total mind trick, but we've been ingrained with the hierarchy of authority, so the higher someone is (literal or figurative) the more authority they have.

I simply like the way heels align a woman's body. Pushes it all straighter. Same with a cinch. I love the feel and look of my body posture in both!

I prefer being barefoot in scening myself. Tottering around in platform heels isn't really helping me focus on what I'm doing to my scene partner. I'd sure hate to trip or stumble if I'm doing needle play or something of that nature. wince Now for some ladies I'm sure platform heels or heels in general are second nature and some of them it's the most comfortable. But for me? I like no shoes, generally, lol.

I haven't worn heels since high school -- I consider them to be unhealthy for my legs, feet, and back.

i will but mention since "I" am SO used to women acting like men,.,, it is a rare treat to find a LADY with enough sense to know how to wear heels,... it is what i respond to. a LADY ... being ... a Lady. most females "I" have ever met in MY life are more man than they are woman. i find that disgusting.

Wearing heels has nothing to do with being a Lady - being a Lady is about how one acts and presents herself. I know a lot more women who wear heels who do NOT deserve to be called "ladies" than I care to think about. I also know quite a few women who do deserve to be called Ladies who by far prefer comfort - which means they don't wear heels often, if at all.

I absolutely love what a pair of heels does for a woman. The heels tighten up her calves and thighs muscles, picks up her butt cheeks making appear to be more firm and round. A pair of heels can give a lady who is starting to loose the firmness of youth to the softness of getting older. Had a "date" with a stripper this past saturday, with a lady who started out in high heels because afterwards she said it gave her some height.
