i was just told by some one i thought was a good friend, that i confided in that they really thought i was full of shit. It was even insinuated that those here think i'm full of shit. That i only want an audience. But yet i'm a good friend. i'm confused.

Step right up, step right up. If you think i'm full of shit, feel free to blast me. Feel free to tell me. Those that i call friends, please step up if you do. i absolutely hate putting trust in ppl for it to be thrown back at me. i trilly do. Dont even really need to come here. Point is, if you the group vote is full of bs let me know. If you all would rather i stopped coming, let me know.

i'm not here for OTHERS to believe in me. And if thats the way folks feel, so be it. i'm not one to force my existance on others. Really. i honestly dont need people.

yeah i'm fucking pissed and blown out the water. i really wasnt expecting to be slapped so harshly this early in the morning by some one i actually cared about.

(ok its not morning, but it feels too fucking early in the day for it)

Who cares what people online think of you. What matters is what you feel about yourself and what those that love you do.

Seriously though RG, I find you delightful. Let's do a comparison here.

I have been told:

+that because I like the message boards, I must only be here for cyber
+that because I like to discuss things, and voice my opinion, that I can not be submissive
+that because I now work to support myself and my daughter, and because I show pride in the fact that I do, that I obviously am not serious about my submissiveness
+that because I find humor to be important, I can not be serious about a relationship
+that because I don't have a picture listed, I must not be real
+that because I refuse to give my address and phone number in the first email, that I must not be real

the list goes on and on, but those are some of the ones that I find the funniest

I have also been told by others on the message board

+that my views are too rigid
+that I have no idea what I am looking for
+that I live in the past too much
+that my expectations are too high
+that my opinions are based in fantasy and not reality

I take all of them with a grain of salt and either think about what they have said, or blow it off as just a difference of opinion.

Doms will use the "you aren't submissive enough" line all the time. I consider those Doms to be stupid. And as soon as they utter those words, my immediate thought is -- obviously you are not the type for me. I usualy wonder if such 'so called' Doms actualy get the diffrence between submissive and gullable doormat. Yeah its an "online" friend that i met here on CM. And probably a very good person themselves. And i liked the person. i usually get ppl saying crap to me all the time and i generally can just look past it. But when it comes from some one i thought i had an understanding with like "always be upfront" that i spoke to quite regularly.. i mean well its like a trusted confidante. UG.

Usually i am able to walk right past this crap. No skin off my nose what you think. Really and usually it isnt. i generally could care less what ppl think about me as it doenst change me. Granted its very nice and pleasant when they say nice things.. but if they dont more power to them for speaking what they think.

i agree with your saying Irish. And i about said the same thing to them. First of course i wanted to "prove" myself. Let them know i wasnt full of shit, so when i turned and walked away they'd know they sorely fucked up. <sigh> but they wouldnt even give me that.

you're right, he can go fuck himself and i wont bother myself any more about it once i manage to put it into perspective and i appreciate you all putting it into perspective.

LOL that is so true. You know, i generally have fun with so called Dominants. i get this wicked kick out of it. i toy with them and play with them, i go from brat to non brat and i generally work on putting them in a submissive role. Cos it AMUSES ME. heh Basically all in all, i prove they arent really dominants

His loyalty is unquestionable, his friendship is unquestionable, he just doesnt question or judge me. And in turn i can be so honest, as he can. Ya know and he's wierd, just as i am wierd. LOL Funny, he's never liked my boyfriends (he doesnt think they're good enough) and isnt so sure about this BDSM stuff. But he gets credit cos he's looked into it all, he's accepts it. but its completely pretty much an online frienship. You can have good friendships online.

Riot- I like what you have to say a lot of the time, but I do think you need to be in more active therapy. You sound like I did before I was on good medication and I see, through your posts, your cycle of mania and depression. I do think you get off on drama too much, and it'd be nice to see it reigned in.

Aside from those things, which should be taken with a LOT of salt 'cause they're said by a random net person, you're a good additiont o the forums.

Riot, you have every right to be here as anyone else. This is a free site and with that in mind it will attract all sorts of people. It is nice to be liked but not everyone will like you. I am sure that some view me as a loathsome troglodyte that drools on my keyboard... I could give a flying fuck less. In the long range scale of my life, their opinion is like a fart in a windstorm. You have never impressed me as being full of shit or any such nonsense, although you are a bit on the moody side sometimes but that is your personality and there is no need to apologize for that. You know, I have a dear friend in real life that every now and again we get into disagreements and we say things that aren't the most uplifting things. It is all good though because we then discuss what was said and come to an understanding. Friends do this from time to time... at least my friends do anyway.

I learned something a long time ago about accepting people for who they are. It doesn't mean I have to like them... it just means I have to accept them. Just because someone doesn't act the way that I think they should act doesn't make them a bad person. I allow people to be who they are and believe me, there is a great freedom in doing that.

The bottom line is, you summed up how you felt and got it off of your chest. You can either move past this or let it fester and drive you up a wall.
