Whatever makes you happy, Kirata :-) . And it looks like Obama's talk about bitterness and clinging is all too true. As neo-cons desperately pretend that more people are like them, in reality the country as a whole drifts more to the Democratic side, and the Republicans themselves drift further to the right, away from the country. Well, sounds like a bit of confirmation bias in this post. In reality, for years and years the majority of the US population has been more conservative than liberal. I suspect that the recent electoral wins hasn't changed that. In other words, the middle third of the American electorate were unhappy enough to overcome their normal propensities. I suspect that many of the great middle might just have a little "re-think" over the next couple of elections, especially when the left continues to act like they have a unquestioned right to do as they wish, without really understanding how limited their "mandate from heaven" actually is. "We won" was a bit like the Republican response. I suspect the attitude will be sorely regretted by more mainstream Democrats in the future. Firm
