Has anyone else noticed that this section "Politics and Religion" has basically
become a "men's club", down here?
Of course, we do get women that drop by now and then, but it appears at least 80% of the
posts and posters down here are men.
I miss not seeing more women posting here.

I am not surprised that this has happened.

Has anyone else noticed this, does anyone care?

Hadn't noticed, and to be honest don't really care. If women wanted to post here they would

Thanks for responding, you don't miss seeing the women folk posting here?

I noticed almost immediately, I just waited to see if it would change.

As a rule I don't pay attention to the gender of the poster, unless it is really in some way relevant to the post

I see that kittin, you have been vigiliant in "holding it down" with these men.
You need reinforcements {more women} to help keep the men in check.

I've noticed that mostly men post in this forum, but I'm not really convinced that the strictly political posts previously made in the Off Topic Forum had any more participation from women.  In Off Topics, you'd see a greater diversity in posters, but I suspect that it was because there was a greater diversity in topics that touched on politics without becoming heated debates.  In fact, there still is a lot of political comments made in the Off Topic forum... by men and women alike.

For the most part, it seems that the same individuals who enjoyed those deep political debates there, now enjoy them here.

If you had a few spare whips and a couple of cattle prods, it would help immensely  . Oh, and a couple of gags, too, for those who waste their saliva trying to have the last word - they know who they are .

Thank you Treasure, for your insight.
I agree that many women did not post on these threads {in Off Topic}, but I always
felt that some of them "stumbled" onto them and posted, because they were around.

Many women don't seem to bother coming down here, it is like a swamp  filled
with gators down here.
I don't want the men to eat each other up, and who will save kittin?

kittin? Do you want me to go up yonder, and try to gather some of the women folk?

Maybe I can get a wagon, and convince a few to venture down here to the new country.

lol... I can see where it might appear that way.

Personally, I've sort of equated it with the cigar and brandy fragranced drawing room, heavily laden with testosterone.

I've always been attracted to testosterone.

This is of course a helpful gesture on your part, to thoughtfully loan implements to those of us in such a rush that we forgot to bring our own?

Since we all know what a delicate flower you are, wanting your whip applied to rather than utilized by...
