I'd never do this but does anyone know if there's such thing as a professional sub?  One whom dominants pay to let them beat him or her?

RedMagic1 -> RE: Professional submissive (5/11/2009 8:11:45 PM)

Yeah.  A few post here from time to time.  They're all smart, hot babes.  Note: female.

LadyPact -> RE: Professional submissive (5/11/2009 8:15:58 PM)

Yes, there are some here.  Not something I would engage in, as I have no problem with supply and demand.

I would totally shell out the cash for a good maso, with a hot leather outfit, and a fabulous body...  Supply is far less than demand in these parts.

girlygurl -> RE: Professional submissive (5/11/2009 9:38:06 PM)

I just can't separate a pro D or s type from a pro ho. Now, that being said.... if a man or woman wanted to spend a couple of hours with me for ohhhhh lets say $500 I'd consider it. [:)]
Wait, I meant that as an hourly rate.

DavanKael -> RE: Professional submissive (5/11/2009 9:59:32 PM)

I don't have any more of an issue with it than I do consenting prostitutes, which is to say I have no issue at all: I think that sex workers who are in the business for their own reasons are earning an honest living.

There is, at present, a "female" subject in Indiana, currently offering her services as a slave for hire...  Wants quite a chunk of change for her services, One might add....

EmelineRose -> RE: Professional submissive (5/12/2009 3:18:57 AM)

I've never met any in person but I know they exist.  I've chatted with a few online and read the websites and blogs of a couple.

housesub4you -> RE: Professional submissive (5/12/2009 3:41:18 AM)

There is a pro sub in Chicago  she works out of one of the dungeons,she has been doing it for a number of years.  So she must be making some money at it

There is also a pro master there, which if you are new to the scene you would think is great for a woman to learn the ropes instead of trusting the nuts out there on this and several other web sites.  I'm not saying ALL Masters are bad, but you have to agree there are some nuts out there in both genders and if you are just learning, not ready to go to a munch, I would think visiting a Pro is safer than meeting someone online.

Sorry, I don’t mean to highjack the thread but please excuse my ignorance. I understand about the professional dome (never been to one mind you) being in control of whatever she’s doing but a professional sub? How can she be in control of the situation she is in? Like for example the impact of the flogging or caning etc.

Fantastic book, fantastic woman who wrote it, she's sharp, witty, really loved what she was doing and a great example that submissives aren't doormats.

There are a few. I've considered it but I don't know of a local demand.

For females, I would imagine the market is fairly robust, but the risk factors are probably higher than over on the other side of the fence.

For males seeking female clients, it's likely far more challenging to "turn a buck", unless said males are very good looking, in excellent physical shape, have a good disposition and are talented in a number of ways (for fear of mild depression, I don't want to ruminate on how much that cuts the eligible male population down to). Even still, while I know some female sadists may venture to pursue the novelty of hiring a temporary toy, I'd be willing to guess they have plenty of willing candidates who will pay them for the honor of serving. For women, the gravity is far higher toward being paid than to pay, and most of them figured this out in high school. This is not to say there isn't potential for "professional submissives" in the male/male sense, however; I'd imagine such an arrangement would be far more lucrative. That probably isn't what aspiring horndog heterosexual professional male submissive wannabes want to hear though, I imagine.

I've paid men to submit before.  The thing is, they have to be incredibly good looking, in a well stocked and safe dungeon and have a ton of experience with S&M or it's way too risky on a variety of levels.  What's the appeal, when I can literally have dozens of men lined up my door willing to submit for FREE and/or even pay me? Or even vanilla guys, since I am attractive and in shape and earn a good living?  The attraction is that there are no strings, no complications, no drama and no expectations.  I don't care how much a male sub says he only wants to please, there are always unspoken expectations.   If they are vanilla guys, they will want sex or sexual favors. I'd rather have it all on the table: I pay. You submit.  End of story.

And if I want eye candy - pure and simple - just a hot guy with a hot body and he's willing to let me beat him, tie him up, torture him for a couple of hours and he won't stalk me, memorize my address, or keep calling me on the phone or threaten to out me or ruin my life because I won't keep seeing him - what's not to like?

If pro male subs had as wide and diverse a market as femdoms, in fully equipped dungeons, I'd be quite happy. I dabble from time to time with "pay to play" online fee-based webcam services that cater to gay men, and you'd be surprised how many female clients they have.

kitastrophe33 -> RE: Professional submissive (5/12/2009 3:31:22 PM)

I did it for awhile...and made good money doing something fun. I specifically catered to people new to the lifestyle...Interested, but nervous about the whole thing. I enjoyed being that entré into the kink world for them, plus it was safer for me that way. They were practicing delivering a good spanking. It was never a hot and heavy subspace delivering scene, but I didn't have to worry that they were going to want to do something that would have been potentially dangerous for me.

That being said, I probably wouldn't do it again. I think I was naive (and lucky) about the risks of meeting strange men for this. My clients were good to me in every way, but it could have been much different...(thinking about that med student who killed that craigslist girl...)

Oh and pro sub/domme are not the same as prostitutes. I had a strict rule that the only one touching the guy's dick was him. I suppose some people combine pro subbing with being an escort, but not all...

housesub4you -> RE: Professional submissive (5/13/2009 3:28:47 AM)

She works out of a Pro Dungeon and there is always another person present.  How the basics work I don't know as I have never used her services.  But I know she has been doing it for several years and last time I went to an event at the dungeon she was charging over $300 per hour for a session.

And your question can also be applied to sub who visits a Pro Domme,.  Why is the Pro Domme in control of everything she is doing?  Limits are set by the person paying the bill, if those limits are not followed,  is the sub not in just as much danger as a Pro sub, both are restrained and at the mercy of the other person.

It's the old argument about who is in control, it's actually fairly simple, both are, the one paying is in control of his or her wallet and can take it elsewhere if s/he doesn't like the restrictions or limits, but on the other hand, most pro subs or dommes are in control which sessions they do take, just the same way it is if you hire any other professional. Say if you hire an interior decorator and you want your house decorated in a way he or she deems tasteless and horrible, if they are worth their salt, they might tell you to take it somewhere else as they would not be the right person.
