Lawrence it is beautiful! In spite of the "other" influences. lol The pattern you used there looks like a macrame pattern. I'm wondering if that would be possible with a bedspread weight (crochet) thread, or maybe something a little bit thicker, but lighter than what you used. It would be more tedious to work out the pattern though. I'm also wondering if the rope/cord could be worked in and out of a french braid somehow. Do you know?

Milady Beckett-

I have tried it with softer laid line (like crochet yarn) and it doesn't work well- the line I used for the picks stayed a bit bulkier than I wanted it to ( again, this was a rush job). 'Parachute' cord, sold at most hardware stores, seems to work best, and I usually 'gut' it- that is pull the core out of the outer braid to make it softer.

As to french braiding, I don't know, but I dod once do a simple three plait braid with one part loosly docked, and it looked good, but came adrift within an hour or so.

I need more victims! Err, I meant volunteers...

I was thinking of a french braid because I was thinking you could do two of them, and it would actually be integrated/secure. With that heavier cord it would be really bulky. Two of those in bondage play would be interesting. And pretty, of course.

Found this thread and the first one quite interesting and beautiful. This one has hair down to her butt, and lucky that she doesn't scalp herself when she is washing it lol. It was beautiful, thank You for sharing the pic.
