For a while I've been looking for a significantly older woman to submit to.  More often than not, I get told I'm too young by the ones I'm interested in.  I've been told to look for Dommes closer to my age.  At first I thought that there really weren't many true and sincere Dommes in their low to mid 20s.  There are a few profiles near me in Massachusetts but many of them aren't at all what I'm looking for.  A profile that says "Only interested in online play and financial domination" is not what I want.  So, that really only leaves a few decent profiles for Dommes close to my age.  I figured there simply weren't that many sincere, young, and truly dominant women.  I decided to do some analysis.  I searched for profiles of dominant women from Massachusetts, New York, California, and Florida, who have logged in this month, and recorded the ages of 1,000 of them.  40 was a very common age, which I expected, but there were a few surprises too.

Here are my findings:

Youngest:  18
Oldest:  65 (I skipped any profiles where the age was 99)
Average:  34.33
Most frequent: 25 (this surprised me!)


I was pretty surprised that 25 was the most common age out of 1,000 dominant women.  There is also a nice peak at 55 years old.  Now, of course, these results should be taken with a grain of salt.  For one, people often don't update their age even though they've been on this site for a few years.  Some people lie about their age.  Unfortunately it would have been way too time-consuming to weed out the phony profiles so they are included in these numbers.  So, do these results really mean that much?  Probably not.  But still it was a fun little experiment and gave me a bit more hope that maybe there is a Domme close to my age out there for me.

Ok so sometimes I'm a nerd but I enjoy crunching numbers!  Maybe no one will care about this but it was interesting for me.

I would wager that of the ones under 30, 97.8% of them are full of shit. I haven't done a study about it yet, but that's just my expert opinion.

Interesting numbers by the way.

That's some outstanding research. I have been saying this for quite some time, but nobody believes me. You have the scientific proof.

You could make that graph even more interesting if you could also graph

age vs. pro domme
age vs. 24/7
age vs. non-condition (just wants to have some fun)

Most of the pro dommes say something in their profile, but it takes a little digging. Maybe out of your 1,000 samples you could take a sample of those in three or four age categories.

I have often asked here why so few women over 50 are dommes. You have proved that the answer is that there are very few women of any kind at CM over 50. I'm not sure why. Most men like myself get interested in dom/sub as we get older, but perhaps that's not true of women. Or maybe older women just don't do web based socializing.

At any rate, your numbers confirm many things I have noticed by anecdotal observations.

I'd love to do some deeper analysis but it took me like 20 minutes just to punch in all the ages.  It would take forever to look at each profile and determine what type of Domme each was.

I had a statistics projects last semester that this would be perfect for, but somehow I don't it would have gotten past the proposal stage :)

I do have some great stat software if anyone wants me to run the data.

Feel free to PM me about your search parameters so I can look at the same data. I'll search them over 50 (won't take long) and perhaps under the age of 25. This is research that has interested me and I would like to help out.

As stated in the original, there might be complications with researching those over 50.  Many D females will put their profile age at 99, so as to discourage those doing searches related to age.

Actually, Excel has a lot of good stats functions built in.

Unfortunately, LadyPact's post indicates that the 99 year olds may not be representative of the entire population.  So you're essentially being forced to use a nonrepresentative sample.

Haha I had not considered that!  I certainly wouldn't count on these results for much but it was fun.

I doubt the percentage is that high. One thing to do is to only use ones that have pictures. Fortunately the younger ones usually have pictures, and looking at them is quite pleasurable.

Yes Maam, sure, but this really did only take about 20 minutes.  Besides, my point was there are hardly any like that near me that are the type I would be looking for.

I'm not bashing women who don't want younger men.  I've gotten over that and certainly understand and appreciate their reasons.

Speaking solely for myself, even I, the eternal optimist, have to take time off from looking every so often. hell, I take weeks off at a time because this is such an annoying, tedious process.

I don't see how figuring the pattern helps you meet "the one" or two, three, four, and so forth. Every woman is different > >
