I'm new to real life femdom, but I've been interested in it for many many years. I'm now looking for a dom through this site, I haven't started the search yet though. Now I know the "pro doms" charge money, and they usually state in their profile if they charge money. But do all the others that don't say "pro dom" charge money? Cuz money is kinda tight for me, and I'm not looking for extreme domination such as 24/7, in which case I wouldn't mind money exchange.

No, a lot of Dominants don't charge money. Though you will hear of "tribute", "gifts" and other pseudonyms for payment, most are in it for love of BDSM. Now if you find someone and establish a relationship, just like a vanilla relationship, there are times when gifts (just gifts, nothing more) are appropriate like birthdays. As someone new to CM, you might be slammed with trolls asking for this or that. Don't be afraid to ignore them. Block and delete is one of the great features of CM. Just hang out on the forums, get to know people and make friends. There are some fabulous people here.

I am a lifestyle female Dominant. I do not ask for money, tribute or gifts but I do require obedience, honesty and respect. If your looking for casual play you may find a Domme that is into it without a money exchange. If you are seeking something very specific or on your terms, then the pay and beat is probably your best bet. ~Lashra

Thanks for the replies that's great to kno. Another question, when I start sending introduction messages to doms near where I live, and it's not clear in their profile whether they charge money or not: What's the best way to ask them whether they charge?

I believe a larger percentage would prefer 24/7 rather than the occasional slap tickle session with nothing in return.

Before you start contacting Dominants I suggest filling out your profile. Read her profile it is usually easy to tell what she is looking for and if she charges.

Yoda, In my more pragmatic days, I liked the expression "sex you pay for is cheaper than sex you don't [pay for]." While its very possible to find a woman (vanilla or otherwise) to have you, love you, and whatever (vanilla or otherwise) activities you have planned without showing the green, one assumes the ratio of women who think "I want my man to be able to provide into the relationship" is the same... Vanilla and otherwise. I don't know what your finances are, or what your principles are. Right now, I have no problem with taking a submissive out for some meals, buying the goods/toys needed, providing the place to play... But my finances do not allow for a pro-sub (the logical equivalent to a pro-domme, as we identify in different directions.) I think an early mistake people make in BDSM is thinking it is more different than the vanilla world than it is alike. It's not.

Yoda all DOMMES do not charge $$ but if someone is going to interview you for a sub position it is always nice to bring a tribute,a $10 Starbucks Gift Card or something shows that you are grateful for the time thed is taking,and when collared be expecting to pay for the food shopping, small bills such as paper sub. etc any DOMME worth her weight that is not pro will work it out with you,just remember the most important thing is to be able to communicate! I have a friend that has some of her subs get a second job just to be able to give her the things she desires,and she has traveled the world and is only 20! Remember that being able to TALK to the person that you want to consider you is most important!
