Yoda, In my more pragmatic days, I liked the expression "sex you pay for is cheaper than sex you don't [pay for]." While its very possible to find a woman (vanilla or otherwise) to have you, love you, and whatever (vanilla or otherwise) activities you have planned without showing the green, one assumes the ratio of women who think "I want my man to be able to provide into the relationship" is the same... Vanilla and otherwise. I don't know what your finances are, or what your principles are. Right now, I have no problem with taking a submissive out for some meals, buying the goods/toys needed, providing the place to play... But my finances do not allow for a pro-sub (the logical equivalent to a pro-domme, as we identify in different directions.) I think an early mistake people make in BDSM is thinking it is more different than the vanilla world than it is alike. It's not.
