AlexandraLynch, you raise an excellent point about search criteria.  (Wish I could figure out how to quote past posts, lol).  I would guess that the complainers are looking for only young, petite mistresses and that's why they are coming up with the demanding types.  If I were young and petite, I'd damn sure be looking for someone to spoil me financially.  Right now I'd settle for someone to mow the lawn.

SB...  the last time I was on a course, I tallied 111.   that was down from 114 the previous time, and 126 the time before that.  And it's now been probably 5 yrs since I last hit the green.

Those who have been on the block long enough to know better than to paint all women who demand gifts or tribute or labor in the same broad brush obviously have issues with the idea in general. I'll try to be clearer.  A man who has nothing to offer except his wallet can expect shallow relationships, not just with women, but with "friends" who only care about him while the money is flowing.  Similarly, a woman who commodifies herself the way you described in your post can expect shallow relationships with men, who will stick around as long as she is physically hot and doesn't have too much of a personality outside their own desires.

I know you were telling a joke in your previous post.  However, if you really looked for men to spoil you (instead of befriend and love you) in the "flower of your youth," it might be part of the reason no one is mowing your lawn right now.  But I don't know anything about you, and my point isn't about you in particular.  My point is that this whole "generous/money" thing can be a trap for the woman.  Not just the man is a "victim."

RedMagic, I absolutely agree that it can be a trap for both sexes, and that it is a dead end for the woman who relies on her looks and allure alone.

that reminds me..I need to dig out the clubs and wiffle balls and practice a bit.   I think I FINALLY figured out why my swing was off....


come to FL, SB.. there are some nice courses here ;)

(oh, if only I could get onto MacDill AFB...  I hear they have 3 championship courses....it'd be fun, even if my tally went up to 300 or so LOL)

Glad to see our tax dollars going towards something useful :)

I'm sure I'd love florida for the golf, too bad I probably wouldn't adjust well to anything else. A company I was working fro relocated a lot of their support staff to tampa and they wanted me to go down there full time. I don't think I could ever make the adjustment.
