I agree with KOM, this just seems boring. I in no way have the inclination to count strokes and remember what quadrant is next. I would feel like I was punching a time clock and turning up for work. Personally I would never take my frustrations or anger into our physical play, there is too much opportunity in that to take things over the edge. We can play rouhg and hard without needing to create situations. She goes out of ehr way to take care of me and help if she sees I am frustrated or upset so taking it out on her would be counter productive.

As a way to make it easier for those (like myself) that are challenge in the counting of strokes... I devised a little assistance in this theraputic flogging technique. I call the Technique "HIT BY THE NUMBERS"

First - get a black marker...

second - write the numbers 1,2,3 .... 31,32,33... 50,51,52 on the body of the Patient um bottom right up until you have the desired number of the strokes you need for the experience to be umm Theraputic! Make sure you put the numbers in the right quadarents.

third - get alittle counter clock - after each hit.. hit the counter... so whatever shows on the clock that's the number you hit on the body

Last - HIT BY THE NUMBERS

Yeah, boring is the word. The subject reminds me of another thread where a slave remarked her Master would tie her standing in a doorway somehow, use her as a target and shoot her back with a kind of paint ball gun, I think it was. That is just too impersonal to me, but she remarked that the randomness of it turned her on. Okay, I guess it is a kind of objectification. The theraputic flogging without emotions are probably the same thing. Interesting topic, but, I find it too clinical.

I can't agree with you more, everything we do has so many emotinos tied to it, I can't see anything of this nature possibly working. I always thought the emotions were part of the response and reason for doing this.

But alas what ever trips your trigger, seems I see several submissive types waving about their arms and proclaiming they would love it. Whatever makes the two (or more) people participating happy is good

I've been quietly watching this thread (not too intently so I may have missed something) wondering if someone was going to bring up the obverse of the position presented by the OP. That is, to say, the theraputic effect of a flogging on the bottom.

Many times I've been approached by bottoms who have been in the midst of some personal turmoil and asked to deliver an intense flogging. Almost without exception, I've been told it improved the bottom's state of mind and outlook.
