Uhbama states Gitmo is a recruiting tool for the terrorists, stating it will close so that we will keep our moral compass strong.
If we are discussing stopping things that are used as propaganda for terrorist groups to recruit more terrorists, why don't we stop supporting or funding Israel, since that is the main reason the terrorists give for coming after us in the first place.

I'd like to see Israel abandon socialist policies and become self-sufficient on defense, but I'd vote to keep supporting them in the meantime as a line of defense against absolute barbarians (apologies to real Barbarians of yore for the comparison).

And blames that for the terrorists hating us.
Guess what... that's not why they hate us.  And if he really wants to make them stop hating us, he can start with the REAL reason why they hate us.

Could you provide a link that states that is the main reason the terrorist give for coming after us? Have you actually done any independent research into these things on your own? The best recruitment was actually the invasion of Iraq, and it provided a great training ground for militants also.

What is your definition of a terrorist anyway?

Gitmo a recruiting tool? What a bunch of nonsense. Like any other situation the best way to get someone to join anything is to prove you are successful. Stopping attacks does far more to slow down recruiting than Gitmo does to help it.

It was you guys who started calling him Dubya.  I even remember it on campaign signs for him back in 2000.

It was a term of affection.

Republicans only stopped using it when Democrats started.  I never knew why.  We only wanted to express our affection for him too.

I'd say someone is a bit of an anti semitic....second shot at Isreal....have a personal issue with those of the Hebrew faith do you?
It is only those of Jewish faith or are there a few others we should know about?...I mean if you are going to hate....by all means Hate Completely....watch out for those nasty Catholics.....never trust a Baptist...and those Damn Episcopalians and their Gay Bishops...damn...they are everywhere those "types"....

I don't think that disagreeing with Isreal's POLICIES necessarily equates to Anti-Semitism. Isreal has a right to exist. The Palestinians do, too.

But the subject was Gitmo being a tool for terrorist recruitment. I think it is a possible tool. Why wouldn't the opposition point to Gitmo (or skew perceptions towards any of our actions) and use it?

Actually until a couple of years ago I was a member of a Muslim and Americans for Understanding email group. Lumping all Muslims into one caregory shows your bigotry and ignorance of the Islamic religion.

Do those Muslim assholes say anything different than an American assholes? You see there are assholes of all shapes, sizes, colors and faiths. Your problem should be with the actions, and not the culture or faith.

You are doing like every other bigot and hate monger, and that is justifying your hatred. The things you say you hate are not exclusive to Muslims, and that is where your problem lies. I see nothing different in you, than I do a Muslim bigot, or a Jewish Bigot, or any other kind of bigot. You justify their actions, by doing the same in return.
