wah fucking wah.  Welcome to the real world, kevin.  The world economy is down.  Therefore it is an EMPLOYERS MARKET... THEY can choose who to hire.  Since you've proven that you dont meet the requirements, then quit whining.  this is on YOU.. Had you not displayed that your focus is on your fantasies (even if they did not immediately  recognize what is obvious to all of us HERE), and if you had put some honest effort into DOING THE FUCKING JOB IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER, then ..perhaps.. you wouldnt have trouble finding a job.

suck it up, buttercup.

The last four words made me spit coffee out of my nose!

Oh and Kevin... sour grapes my friend. It's a company's job to make money. That means keeping around the best of the best when times get lean. You may not like to hear it but Greedy is correct... suck it up.. put on your big boy undies and act like an adult.

i wasnt consistently late from lunch, just a few times, i also never left work earlier than 5pm having been in at 9 am- in other words i did a standard day like everyone else. And yes i think She deserves to be fired. im baffled She isnt. its because of people like Her that people like me get fired. Employers think we have enough dossers with us already, he could turn into a dosser , we wont take the chance, which is prejudice as far as im concerned
kevin

How many is a few times? Twice? Two dozen?

Punching in and out "on time" does not mean you did your job while you were there. And, if your daily duties were not complete by 5pm then you shouldn't have left. You should have stayed until your job was done. Not just done, but done well.

Oh, and who deserves to be fired? And how can someone else cause you to get fired...i mean i know of it happening but, in this particular situation i'm not buying it.

There is so much unemployment because employers dont give a tuppeny damn about anyone but their bottom line.

Kevin...i have no idea why i bother, but here goes. We are in a recession. Times are tough. A recession does not hit only Mr and Mrs Average Citizen...it also slams the employers as well. If I, as Mrs Average Citizen, do not have the spare cash to spend at the local dept store, the store feels the pinch and has to cut it's losses. An employers losses are generally cut first by less employees doing more work.

Are ya following me so far, Kev?

What follows next, is a more competitive job market. Meaning the competition for employment is fierce. One who is on probation who does not meet the standard is going to be let go. There are too many others who CAN meet the standard for an employer to tolerate a sub-standard job performance.

Still with me, Kevin?

Next...there is a thing called skill. This is generally obtained through college or a trade school. It means you provide a service to the employer that they pay for...that they want. And you first sell this service to the employer during a job interview. You must have what they seek for them to hire you. You are not entitled to a job that pays a living wage. You must be QUALIFIED for that job, and if hired, supply the employer with the performance they expect of you. A job flipping burgers is not a living wage. If it is what you are qualified for, you will have to take a second job to make ends meet.

And lastly Kevin...no one owes you a fucking thing. No employer out their owes you a job. Society does not owe you a living. If you DO manage to get a job, you are not entitled to health benefits, stock options, a 401K, etc. Those benefits are provided to the employee as an incentive to stay with the company for the long term, and are earned. Earned...certainly not a right.

Aylee, I am gonna need your help with the stilettos.  If I am doin this, I am doin it right.

Iffn you SERIOUSLY want to learn to walk in stiletos, I can give you some tips.
I'm looking for the stiletto tips.   Since lobo's not learning anything anyway, we may as well make this thread useful for some other people.
I have high heels which I rarely use anymore, because they make me look like a literal giantess, and I don't have that kink, and I've often felt stilettos were made by male sadists.   Nevertheless, a beautiful shoe, is a beautiful shoe.   So bring on the stiletto advice.    M

i follow you completely and its right except for one thing. how is it fair to be fired when all along up until the last six weeks you are being told that you are satisfactory that you are doing a good job and that you will be made permanent. then with six weeks to go before your probation expires you are told you are not a fit for the job in question and furthermore are given no explanation for this. no im sorry that for me is unfair dismissal. something i have pursued and am currently awaiting the outcome. bottom line i was there for over twelve months, twelve months and a few days exactly, proceedings were initiated against me with six weeks to go but i worked for over twelve months, i did not resign, i only left when they terminated my contract. this happened over twelve months after i was hired. no explanation. im sorry there is a thing called rights which you acquire after being twelve months in employment and the employer obligation to prove that your dismissal is fair. ive challenged them to prove that and am willing to go further to an employment appeal s if the rights commissioner hearing does not work out. bottom line is im seeking re engagement as i worked bloody hard  right through and was misled then given no explanation, something i am entitled to after 12 months employment under Employment Law in ireland, as to why my contract was terminated. do you now see why i have a grievance? i hope this clears it up

Actually, that would be fantabulous considering when I walk in anything higher than a flat, I look like a bowlegged bull with a tree trunk in its tush...lol

Walking in heels is designed to make you walk sexier, it makes your hips sway more and such.

I started a thread with my tips on heels.  I hope that you all enjoy and perhaps some others will chime in with even more suggestions.

It seems to Me that you were given a reason, Kevin.  They told you the problem was interpersonal relations (in other words, not getting along with others) in the workplace.  After seeing how you behave on the forums, I have no problem believing that at all.  The personality that is expressed here, I'm sure, is the same one in everyday life.  That uncanny ability to aggravate people to no end could be very disruptive to others, lower moral, and make the workplace less productive.

Again, you are thinking that people should make exceptions for you.  That's not the way the world works.  Nobody has to put up with you just because you feel you are entitled.  Nobody owes you a job.  Nobody has to skip their personal preferences to 'give you a chance' at a relationship.  I'm glad the folks at the Dublin munch are nice to you.  In the same breath I say, give them a while to get to know you, like the folks here at CM have and the ones who had to work with you did.  I'm sure your true colors will shine through there, just like they have here.

Dare I ask what position?  Or should I put my good girl hat on and just do as told?

Wow, nine pages of whining... is that a record?
I find it amusing that someone who "Lives For" female supremacy has such issues with having a female supervisor who actually *gasp* has expectations of him, and reinforces those expectations with supervision. One has to wonder how he would react to being in service to a real Domme . I'd suggest LadyPact, but I like her far too much for that.

As to them leading you on about permanent employment, Kevin. I don't know how things are in Ireland, but here in the US, if you are in a probationary period or temp-to-hire contract position, most companies can let you go if the boss doesn't like the way you part your hair. This is particularly true if you have completed less than a certain number of hours (not months, hours) with the company. If your reviews were satisfactory until the last one, you should take a look at what changed about YOUR job performance. As has been said over and over ad nauseum- get over yourself. No one owes you a job, you do not have a right to employment or a certain lifestyle. Until you get that through your head, you will be stuck right where you are, unemployed and whining about the injustice of it. Get you head out of Dreamland where every "man"  is given a job on the basis of having a set of wrinklies and a dingle/dangle, and face the world the way it really is.

Given your posts here, I really have to wonder how you answer the "reason you left your last employment" question on applications and in interviews. Little hint: if the words "stilettos", "leather", "bullying", "lead me on", or "battleaxe" are involved, it's no wonder you haven't found work. If the words "every man has a right to a job" are written or uttered anywhere in the process, you have just buried yourself with yet another employer.
