During the brief period I was seeking a Dom, I couldn't think of a way to express what I desired because I didn't want it to read like a laundry list. I also deleted any kink related items as it can get a bit tiring when you're approached for a relationship based solely upon sexual desires. I intentionally selected "friends only" as I want to know I'm compatible with the person, not a kink. Heck, I can and have gotten "kinky" with people without having an actual relationship. My Sir and I were friends before we decided to be a couple. By that time, we had a really good idea of mutual likes, dislikes, etc.

Great post DarkSteven, Sir and a good point. Oddly enough though, often despite stating what i want in my profile I get many messages trying to "change my mind" in a sense. I think everything would go more smoothly if people said what they wanted and also didn't try to change someone into being what You wish they were

Well, I originally had fairly long profile and I got a lot of kooky, ahem how we say too "intimate" replies. Even though it was a quite specific, gentle profile, I still got all sorts of crazy responses. So I decided to limit my profile and I still get the weird responses. I have clearly defined what I want and don't want...And I still get people writing regardless of my preferneces. I used to take the time to reply to all of them, but I no longer do. Because I clearly say I want someone local and someone writes me from England, obviously they didn't take the time to read what I wrote, therefore I don't feel I owe them a response. And I agree with an earlier reply, it's tedious when someone comes at you with just sex talk...or if someone has nothing whatsoever filled out in their profile...never a good sign... My 2 cents...Happy Memorial Day everybody!
