Well... I'm thinking about starting up a coven here.

thornhappy -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (6/1/2009 9:11:03 PM)

We could also have a Buddhist temple for the mine workers.

We need an Army post near the town.

So we'd need a commanding officer - probably a colonel, a hard and distant man, grown bitter from the ever-growing awareness that any chance he once had of becoming a general has long since passed him by, and the rest of his career will be spent shuttling from one distant, dusty outpost to another - and his wife, a lonely, 40-something woman, once the promising daughter of a privileged family, who barely remembers the dashing young officer who swept her off her feet and carried her from her home back east toward what she imagined would be an exotic, elegant life of glamor and romance. She still shares his name, but no longer his bed, and her afternoons are spent gazing across the endless prairies and imagining what it would be like to ride over them with the handsome young captain who commands her husband's finest company, a company ramrodded by the tough Irish sergeant from Boston who... well, you guys make the rest of it up. Lots of possibilities with an Army post just outside of town!

Gotta have a gold mine to keep the judge in bling.....

DarkSteven -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (6/2/2009 6:53:28 AM)

Uh oh, I sure hope that the mining will not incorporate cyanide leaching.  That's cheap and effective but nasty.

Let's just say that the mine will produce solid nuggets of ore, shall we?

LaTigresse -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (6/2/2009 6:58:14 AM)

Solid nuggets work for me.

Don't forget this Bear's Wiccan so I expect a good attendance at the next Sabbat. As a reminder....all Sabbats are celebrated skyclad.

I'll ride witcha, miss. I hate to think of you all alone, out there in the middle of nowhere...

Oh...wait.....you alone, out there in the middle of nowhere.....I like that thought.

Definitely riding witcha now. A girl can't be too careful.

No, I mean that literally. No matter what, it won't be careful enough...

*stops by stable to pick up "supplies"*

*whistling very happy tune learned from DarkSteven that hasn't been invented yet*
