Since the library doesn't have any books as of yet, this librarian will just be over at the boarding house.  Maybe she can help out with the church events or even find some temporary work until then.

And heaven forbid she should end up over at one of the brothels, too.

KneelforAnne can hook you up with the church events.

she is very good....that is.....she does very good......um.....her work is good.

Oh hell--you'll enjoy the kind of work she does! Join her!

Oh.....and if you're a spankee at the fundraiser, I'd be willing to, um, help out the town....

*goes to look for KneelforAnne for more...er....strawberry jam....*

How 'bout some cherry-yogurt muffins??

It looks like we're still a little thin on both spankers and spankees for the fundraiser!! Those library shelves aren't going to fill themselves!! We need to save dreamofthemoon from sin and vice!! Heaven forbid she ends up at the bordello instead of shelving books!!

Word has it a certain traveling gambler is really liking the way this new town is coming together and is considering putting down some roots. He might even step up and volunteer to be a spanker at the fundraiser.

That's what I heard anyway...

No, no, for real! He's good!

Among my favorites are "Oh my God! Suzanna!," "Beautiful Screamer," and "Clampdown Places," but my favorite of all:

"You Can Leave Your Hat On For the Old Folks at Home."

I'm trying to get him to write a strawberry jam song, but I think he's still working on the librarian one.

Well, I can't speak for Steven on this, but yes, I get that all the time, right after "It's so BIG!"

Of course, lately, they all ask "How'd all that strawberry jam get there?"

*starts humming Steely Dan's "Josie," then remembers it hasn't been invented yet*

I think Igor (former pony soldier with two sheep for sale & keeper of the General Store) is on vay-kay (or ignoring us LOL) so I ordered several cases of it. One has to speak to me sweetly to gain access to it ;)

Sadly, that kind of fundraiser is a bit too sinful for a little ol' librarian type such as me, so i'll have to decline.
