You rang????

Just one look at my new(barely used) Corral Kate Spades with the big bow in front and the stiletto heel would attest to the fact that I am a fashionista. I think Hibbie would give me a testimonial on that? I love skirts. But its not the brand name but how its put together.

oops. Saw this was ask a Mistress. Im not one but i love my Lady freinds and you cant expect a fashionista to stay away just cause shes a sub, right????[:o]

I think that's fine *smiles*. In fact, sometimes I wish I didn't have the mindset that I have since I think a sub/slave could be really fun when it comes to fashion. Think high end dress up lol.

Wish I was better at posting links, but I subscribe to Who What Wear and CultIndie.  Both are excellent and I highly recommend them if you love fashion.  I wouldn't/couldn't wear or afford everything they feature, but they are oh-so-interesting.

You bring up a good point Miss. It is fun to try to do a certain style cheap. Obviously I'm not looking at ladies fashions for my own ideas, but I'll check out some men's things now and again. Unfortunately, like women's wear, men's fashions tend to be for human sticks. I just have to upsize. *smiles*

I adore fashion.  My vintage Barbie collection is more about the history of midcentury fashion than anything else!

I bet some of the vintage Barbie clothes and accessories are worth as much or more than their full size counterparts.

I love fashion and am an admitted Hermes junkie. I also collect vintage Pucci.

Yes,I also post on the PurseForum...shhh...don't tell anybody!

A Hermes junkie? A lady after my own heart!

You wouldn't happen to be a proud owner of a CDC cuff or two, would you Miss? I have such a thing for them, you wouldn't imagine.

Your secret is safe with me, although I doubt you post with the same username on there. *winks*

Ahh...I wish... I have yet to move past bags, scarves, and leather goods! But my absolute FANTASY is the day Hermes comes out with a CDC collar!!! I could imagine the raised eyebrows if I placed one on special order...lol.

Venatrix -> RE: Any Fashionistas? (5/27/2009 7:37:08 PM)

Today, I bought the Women's Wear Daily Fall '09 Runway Report.  Do I get an official "Fashionista" badge?

I believe they joined a couple CDC cuffs together for the two pics below.

I guess you could say a CDC collar would be as "domme" as a collar could get?

Goddess2002 -> RE: Any Fashionistas? (5/28/2009 2:37:44 AM)

OMG if I was a man those pics would give me an instant erection...lol. That may be a very good idea...to have two cuffs soldered together. You have me thinking now...I think the CDC is definitely an ultimate DOMME accessory! I would like to buy one of their horsewhips soon.

I considered buying the Medor clutch, the one in the photo, but in reality it's too big for me. My next purchase will be a Kelly Pochette instead. Ok...I gotta get off the subject of purses fast....

I think Hermes is a fetish all to itself. What is more fetish than riding boots, crops, and studs? *grins*

BTW, since you seem to be looking for a nice crop/whip, did you ever check out the selection from Agent Provocateur?

eta:

I think they just snapped/latched two CDC cuffs together. I don't think any perm. modifications would need to be done, since I think two put together in a circle would roughly be enough for most necks. That would be an expensive collar regardless, even if you went with the basic black (my fav).

Lockit -> RE: Any Fashionistas? (5/28/2009 12:00:10 PM)

I so flunk out in this area... I love clothes...don't get me wrong... I just don't like wearing them.  I think I will stick with streaking.

I was thinking things like this would start happening. Even the Monaco Grand Prix was lower key this year. The harbor was still full though.

Fashion might be lower key for the next year or two. Or maybe it will get a little crazy so people can forget their troubles?

GYPZYQUEEN -> RE: Any Fashionistas? (5/28/2009 4:04:42 PM)

Always goes both ways, the ones that still can afford it will flaunt it, the ones that can't will at least want to see how the other half lives and will buy the magazines or watch soap operas where the actresses are flaunting designer gear

Politesub53 -> RE: Any Fashionistas? (5/28/2009 4:18:34 PM)

I think all Dominas should wear leather 24/7

Just a thought [8D]

Those damned leather PJ's make me sweat so much ;)

But during my waking hours I'm rarely ever without at least one item of leather, since I don't wear a wrist watch, it can be anything else

It depends on your friends.
I have a serious fashion habit, and the income to afford it.
My bestest girl friend's about to have her second baby, her husbands lost his job which was their only source of income, and their mortgage rate was fixed a month before the crash.
I will go to k-mart to buy whatevers on special, wear it for visiting them and find some excuse to bring up the receipt when I'm over there, because they're are suffering and I feel so guilty. They're lucky to have a dollar left over at the end of the week, and I spend thousands on luxuries.
She's offered herself to me for baby money.
So has he.
But I don't play with vanilla's or married's. So I've done what other things I can with them, you know to help.
If they had money, I'd buy so much fashion. But they don't, so I do it slow, on the down low.
