Status: offline 		I have noticed over the years that my tastes have changed subtly over the years.  Things that used to excite me don't do it as much, yet I have found other things that excite me more...has anyone else experienced this?

Status: offline 		I can't think of anything I started out enjoying which I now dislike, but there have been plenty of things that didn't appeal to me at first that I love, now. Of course, that's with *actually* doing stuff - in fantasies, I tend to get bored with one thing and need to find different scenarios sometimes.

I'm reminded of a woman who has a bi-piston vibrating, gyrating, anal/vaginal/clitoral rabbit jackhammer dildo being bored of a penis. When humans like something, they have a habit of over exposing it. I've listened to Billy Joel's Downeaster Alexa enough for a lifetime. Taking a break from it may refresh the novelty.

But alas, people do change. Some are subtle, some are drastic. It's natural, normal, and hard to avoid.

One change I've experienced... I used to not like wearing watches. Now I feel naked without one.

Status: offline 		There are things that I love doing now that I never dreamed of doing ten years ago.  There's other stuff I probably haven't done in ten years!  My enjoyment level doesn't change, so much as I rotate the things I do to keep things interesting.

I am 47, I have definitely changed a lot over the years. I am happy about that.

Things I have today, like the horses, I would never have dreamed of---and I find that I am very at peace with Myself--if it happens, fine, if it doesn't fine--in the meantime-- I'm not slowing down My thirst for life.

Status: offline 		Yes, my tastes have changed significantly over the years. I have no regrets, though. The things that I enjoyed then I look back on with fondness, and the things I enjoy now I look forward to participating in. I have noticed, though, that when one is with one or more people for a long stretch of time, sometimes the changes in oneself don't coincide with the changes in others and this can cause some real stress to the household while everything works itself out.

Ditto that.  In the last year especially it's been a constant "Oh, you like to do that? Really?" And a few days later, I've got my head around it.  It's good to have an extensive repertoire, I feel.

Status: offline 		Considering the 'interests' that I've collected recently, it's funny that the one thing I started out wanting to do I'm still embarrassed to talk about.  It's really quite mild in relation to all those more recent interests, as well.
