Hello, I posted before on this subject on another topic. The issue with being a moderator on a web message board is similar to being a referee to a youth soccer game. There are a set of rules which the moderator or referee is counted upon to enforce REGARDLESS of whether they personally agree with them or not. A referee has a relatively horrible time, and personally, I am surprised at my self-masochism that made me volunteer to do it. A referee has to make a judgement call, they make it, it may or not be unpopular, BUT... The moderators of this board are not beholden to the people posting, they have a set of guidelines they have to follow and they do so, WITHOUT BEING PAID TO DO SO, to ensure the long term survival of the message board. While Leonidas can assume it is a personal attack on him, and other people can be supportive of him, it MIGHT just be that the moderator whose job it was to monitor that message board was out enjoying Real Life for the last two weeks and returned to their job, saw 4 posts which violate the rules, and pulled 4 threads.
