May I point out the Hunts label has released a Salt Free Ketchup.
While it is palatable it still needs a little work.
Any one watching their sodium this might be a good option.

Here in West Virginia they put cole slaw on hot dogs.
 
If i am going to have cabbage on my hot dog it will be saurkraut! (i grew up in PA)

I eat veggie dogs with ketchup, mustard, relish, cheese and sauerkraut.  

I've had it with coleslaw and really liked it that way, too.

saourkraut, preferably of some slightly sweet variety. Or saurkraut and a nice, sweet, tangy pickle relish.
Really unique relishes, like a nice vadalia onion relish, will always get my attention.

Relish.

Now before you go Ewwwwwwwww, Just go and Eat one, the way the flavors fight for dominance of the mouth is Amazing.... and Tasty to boot

Kogels vienna, with Flint style coney sauce(meat,chilli) heavy mustard and onions. Make it two, and a sprite!

sadly hot dogs and hamburgers are anathema to me right now.

how's about a little lamb chump chop with just plain salt and pepper, but sided by potato salad american style? and black olives. love my black olives.

i prefer the kind with cheese in the middle..You know...just the bun....smooshed nicely around the hot dog and all..and as you bite in you get this gush of cheese...
