not much to report here, the month of may was a busy month, I traveled to see Master for a week (which was great) and a friend of mine was supposed to come stay with me for a few months but she fell and broke her leg and is all scraped up and wheel chair bound so she's flying back to LA to stay with a friend who works from home and can help her out. Other than that hopefully this month will be relatively quiet and i'll spend time with my sister's family, they have a boat we take out on the columbia river.

FR

Eh. It's okay. Life continues. I'm still here, hanging out. The 'other place'* too . . . . lol . . . . . Ultimately, I spend way more time reading the New York Times than I do hanging out at either of these forums . . . . . .

I'm in an extended solo space these days, luxuriating in single-ness & celibacy, lol . . . . . & vastly amused at the notion that one can only be fetish-y with other people, that some might think a 'kinky solo' is a misnomer . .. . . .

*& just to be an asshole & see what I can slide around the censors, the other place is * f * e * t * l * i * f * e * . . . . . . . lol

HI all.. I have not been here in ages.. but thought I'd check in... I finally ended the two relationships that you'all heard about on occasion... my boy (and relatively long term) and I broke up in early March -- we're working on a friendship.  Funny thing is, once we broke up, she promised me everything I'd wanted for three years and continues to.  Distraction and I are also working on a friendship.

I am seeing someone new - that I've known for a long time -- she pursued me, I ignored her for awhile as we had some rough history -- and yet... I took a chance and it seems to be working out for the moment.. its new... and we'll just have to see  --- the play and D/s... and all the fun are amazing right now...

I passed my motorcycle test and bought a bike.. can I just say.. whoooo hooo... and zooooom! No more riding... er... bitch... which I always called princess... [;)]

Summer is really looking good...

hope all are well...

PsyVamp -> RE: june roll call (6/2/2009 6:46:41 PM)

Hi all.
Things are the same and things are changing. *smiles*
My oldest is joining the Marines.
School is still eating up a bunch of my time.
I lost 15 of the 20 pounds I gained almost 2 years ago (yay me!)

My pet and I are getting along well, and I get to enjoy all facets of his personality without as many clashes as we used to have.

I am also looking forward to this summer!

MissJanice2 -> RE: june roll call (6/2/2009 7:36:24 PM)

It is hard to believe it is June.
We are doing well.  I am moving into my old home.  My slave is helping me with that process for the next few weeks.
All of the windows I have to decorate.
We have managed to do some scening which was fun.   We will have a lot more privacy in my new old place.

Best Wishes,

Mistress_Jan

MsDDom -> RE: june roll call (6/3/2009 10:50:40 AM)

CatdeMedici -> RE: june roll call (6/4/2009 3:17:55 AM)

Wow, June is busting out all over!!

  • Just got back from a business conference in Orlando, didn't want to go, lost only 22 of the 40 lb goal, but it seems it was enough to get the wow factor--I found My center again--it was great, I did great business, and feel awesome--oh and I ran twice a day there, so if anyone is familiar with the swann/dolphin/yacht club/boardwalk---you know the course and the distance! I feeeeeeeelllllllllll good.
  • Went to a fear factor display and ate a worm in dirt to win something for My 19 YO UM
  • Work rocks, just when I think I can't go to a new level, I go to a new level!
  • Still struggling with My horse's feet, anyone who has horses gets this comment. Anyone who has had a horse with constricted heels, please email Me on the other side, I'd like some input.
  • Its nice to be home, now I can focus on family, garden, horses and summer!!!

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: june roll call (6/4/2009 6:32:38 AM)

after ending May with a quiet vacation, June kicked off with a rockin' bang (Swedish style) from my friends from Gothenburg.

my summer concert schedule 09 will keep me busy from now until August - my calendar's booked with 2 major indie music fests and shows including the pride fest happening in the end of this month. my oldest is walking in her first pride parade with her teen group.

also - i'll be moving (yessssssss!) when schools are out.

my pet and i are at full steam with wedding plans (gawd i hate attending bridal shows but love the free food samples and other goodies).

have a fun summer, everyone

SweetDommes -> RE: june roll call (6/4/2009 5:00:22 PM)

And my computer crapped out on me.  No idea what exactly went out, but as I don't have anything important on there that isn't already backed up, rob is getting ready to just reformat the damn thing.  I hate computers.

Grats to everyone with good news - always nice to hear that people like their jobs [:)]  seems to be a rare thing these days ... and to those getting hitched - all the good wishes in the world.

It's been an iffy few weeks.  I am just rolling with whatever.

MaamJay -> RE: june roll call (6/4/2009 9:02:53 PM)

May was crazy with packing, trying to sort out which stuff to put in the 5th wheeler van and what should go into storage or get sold! It was totally exhausting and I spent the whole of the last night in the house cleaning (yuck!). Poor Master lifted about 5 tonnes of boxes and stuff in the last couple of weeks there and ended up fighting off a migraine. It was a hectic exit from the house as the new owners were storming through the door and I never even got to take a final pic [&:]

The first night we went all of 5km in the van to the nearest free rest area! Sorted some of the bags of stuff into cupboards, then went about 300km north for a week's R & R and to show off the van to His family. Teething troubles - cupboard doors flying open (child safety straps work a treat!), the awning broke in the wind (nothing a $230 new arm couldn't fix!) and He broke the steps (luckily didn't also break His neck ... so there's now a high tensile bolt in them instead of a rivet!). Headed back to the home town to catch up with friends we ran out of time to say goodbye to (and another trip to the chiropractor!), then set off on our grand adventure.

250km down the road ... the cat miaows for us to stop so she can pee (she's adapting brilliantly for a 20yo!) ... Master gets out of the car and says "Holy shit there's oil on the side of the car!" then sits in the gutter with His head in His hands! Not a good sign I figure! Turns out this model of Chev has an issue with the injectors (it's a turbo diesel) ... and one has cracked, allowing diesel and oil to mix and the pressure is causing oil to spew everywhere. BAD BAD news! Local mechanic didn't want a bar of it but got the gear out to dump the contaminated oil, put in new stuff and advised us to limp it back to the larger town we'd left only that morning ... where there happens to be a chev dealer (not common here in Australia!). So we did that ... however dealer turns out to be a total rip-off merchant who wanted to charge $8600 to change all 8 injectors! We nearly died, just don't have that spare at the moment. We phoned person we bought it off in desperation even though being a private sale it's not under any warranty ... he has sourced chev injectors from USA at half the price (well, he's not putting a mark-up on them) and his mechanic will do the work at way less labour charge. However, he's 400km further south and it's not driveable, so it will be towed there, while Master and I hole up in a wonderfully cheap and spacious caravan park that we found! It's likely to be less than half the dealer's price, and that's including Master's train ticket down there to collect the car when it's ready! Nicer still, the park we are in is attached to a truck stop where there's a really nice restaurant so I still get to be taken out to dinner for my birthday tonight, we can walk there! And being encamped for a week plus gives me lots of time to work on my PhD proposal and some other writing work I've been asked to do. So if you look hard enough, there's always a silver lining!

Master and violet are also celebrating their 5th year together 24/7 this week, and the 3rd anniversary of my collaring to Him, so it's a celebratory week all round. Don't think i could get through all of this without Him in my life. i am blessed. Still no luck on a male sub for Jay though!

Congrats to those getting married, and good luck to those who are moving!

Maam Jay aka violet[A]

PanthersMom -> RE: june roll call (6/4/2009 9:48:49 PM)

may ended with son #3 coming home from residential treatment.  behavior is basically unchanged.  due to the economy there aren't enough funds to keep him in residential treatment, especially when he's not cooperating and getting any benefits from it.  we're looking into other places to send him, but for the time being he's back in day treatment.  #4 will be going into day treatment on the 15th of june.  had i known then what i know now, i'd have given more thought to adopting crack babies before saying i'd take two of them.  hindsight is 20/20.  i think i'd have still done it, but been wiser in my choices for support services.

june began with more surgery, i had the last two toes on the right foot amputated on june 2nd.  i was awake and alert thru the procedure, only took a local and 45 minutes in the o.r.  this month will be a month for getting things in order.  i got two A's and two B's in my classes last semester so i now have the summer to get things back in order around here, weed out the junk we haven't used in ages and so on.  freecycle's going to get sick of seeing my offers, lol.  my attic needs a good cleaning out so while i'm recuperating, that's what i'll be doing with the help of my offspring.  i also want to tackle the basement, but depending on my recovery, that may be july's project.  hope everyone has a healthy and safe summer, with the best of luck in finding whatever you seek.

I graduated training and have been practicing more, getting new experiences and I've found a lovely sub.
My boyfriend went home from college but is coming to visit next week.
My little brother graduated from high school.
I'm deep into my summer semester of college...
I'm about to turn 23.
Going to see an Irvine Welsh reading tonight with friends :)

Still here and hanging on. Biggest breakthrough yet: Mrs. likes pedicures. I'm learning fast. Thursday is now "Pedicure Night" and she won't let me forget. :-)

Peace and goodwill to all..

It's perfectly fine....no one mentioned the difference in color from one quarter panel to another.

I'll never change my fervent belief that Shakra inverted is just another way to say "Hey! Is it Tuesday?".

(Quite a few would disagree with me...and I'm fine with that).
