Laying down while you're being flogged relieves your body of the responsibility of staying upright, even if just to lean against a cross. It allows the maximum opportunity to experience the full range of emotions and reactions that can come with a flogging because you don't have to worry about anything. (Disclaimer about trusting the Top and all that.)

Status: offline 		I know the chair you're talking about well...my girl's a therapist and is in search of one for her job...the one we have is a huge heavy wooden thing topped with a thick leather mattress - which I've seen in a few SM photoshoots, and on dungeon furniture websites, sold as a bondage table

She still refuses to buy a cutesy sexy masseuse outfit tho...says it'd undermine her professional image...pfft
